The cabin was great, easy to arrive at, clean, and very spacious.

We enjoyed the cabin, in spite of somethings that we had issues with. First, I want to say, that the cabin felt cozy, especially, with the fire in the living room. The beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows. All in all, the cabin is very lovely, although, a bit outdated. The cabin was fully carpeted, which didn't help the inside look. We have been renting large cabins for 15 years in a row, minus the covid period. We are familiar on how carpets look at first sight, that should have been properly, cleaned. The carpet did not have the usual streaks that a vacuum leaves. We used our car vacuum and sure enough, we picked up a lot of dirt and hair. The carpet itself, looked dirty and we just imagined how many people have walked through, dripping wet, after a dip in the hot tub. We found a lot of long black hair in the master bedroom shower stall and my husband's hair is short and mine is bottle blonde. The rest of the party, never set foot in our restroom. All the towels in the restrooms smelled dirty and musty, as if they had been in a hamper for months and taken out and hung up for us to use. We didn't realize this until the first shower, so we had no recourse, but to use them as is. We washed them and they had a clean smell, afterward. We understand that pine needles fall and we are used to this, because we always rent a cabin in the fall. However, we are used to maybe, an inch or two of fallen dry needles, but in this case, the needles were everywhere,

Overall, it suited our needs for space. Location and neighborhood were great. The house is outdated, so the showers didn’t work great. The kitchen amenities were not very good for a house of that size. Dishes, utensils, basic spices, etc. could have been much better.
