About this cabin rental
A perfect escape for total privacy. Watch nature move and change while sipping your morning coffee on the deck. This modern cabin sits on 15 private acres high up on Mt. Tremper. Enjoy the total quiet on a mountainside just a few minutes from civilization. Beautiful fields, woods, and streams. Central AC in the summer, central heat all winter, and a charming woodstove for extra coziness. Great food nearby. Less than 30 minutes to Hunter and Belleayre. About 12 minutes to either Woodstock or Phoenicia. The perfect getaway.
There are two bedrooms, both with queen beds. One is on the first floor and the other is on the second floor. So, very comfortable for two couples, the well laid-out space for works for either being together or having privacy.
The full bath is on the first floor and has a shower/tub combination. The laundry room is next room over.
The living room is large, opening into the dining area by the woodstove, all situated beneath a cathedral ceiling. The kitchen is around the corner--small, but it has everything you need: gas stove, fridge, cookware, and a dishwasher.
The Wi-Fi is strong, so working from the cabin is possible. We do have a TV, so you can stream to your heart's content.
All linens and towels are supplied, as are bath soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, an individually wrapped kitchen sponge, dishwashing liquid, and dishwasher detergent. All you need to do is bring some groceries, some firewood, and your love of nature. We've taken care of everything else.

We had an incredible time at the cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for--incredibly private, surrounded by wilderness, but comfortable and clean. The inside is cozy, spacious, and well kept, with multiple areas to sit and relax, great windows, and great sunlight. We spent most of our time outside on the deck, listening to birds and insects, enjoying the beautiful woods. The cabin is located just a short (and lovely) drive from the many fantastic restaurants in Woodstock, Phoenicia, and others, as well as numerous hiking opportunities. Highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful, quiet, comfortable getaway surrounded by nature!
