Great location with easy access from main train station and plenty of restaurants options nearby. We travelled with two young kids and the playground behind the property was handy. However, if you are planning on cooking there is only one old frying pan.

The location of the apartment is phenomenal—very convenient, with a 7-Eleven and train access close by, which made getting around really easy.There were a few things that could be improved. Since garbage needs to be separated, it would really help to have multiple bins available. As it is, we ended up with different types of trash in plastic bags around the kitchen, which wasn’t very convenient.In the bathroom, there’s a large brick under the washing machine that sticks out, so it’s something to watch out for (easy to stub your toes). Also, only one very small towel was provided per person, which was not enough. We had to wash and dry them during the day while we were out, which was a bit inconvenient.Overall, the location is a big plus, but a few small adjustments would make the stay much more comfortable.

The home was located in a relatively quiet area of Takadanobaba, and an easy 10 minute walk from the station. As many others have mentioned, there is very little in the way of cooking/food prep equipment (only 1 pan, no pots, no rice steamer) so be prepared for that. I found the communication with the owner to be fine, but there was no typical check in/check out instructions, manual for the home, or advice as to how to leave the facility. That was fine of course, but for some it may be a bit difficult to ensure you are leaving as required. The photos do make it look larger than it is. But saying that, it was very comfortable for a family of 4. We loved the area we stayed as it gave us good access to the surrounding areas of Tokyo.

The apartment was sufficient for needs and the host allowed us to leave our bags early for sightseeing which is appreciated. It is 12 to 15 minutes from the stop not 5 minutes. There is very few kitchen implements if you want to cook/eat. The house is not the cleanest and there is little to no extra touches for ambience or comfort.
