About this house rental
Solana Resort in Davenport is one of the most popular gated resort communities for holiday makers to the Walt Disney World area and this home is no exception to the rule.
A very spacious 4 bedroom 3 bathroom family private pool home on the 24hr manned gated community comes complete with a King master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower including 2 direct exits to the pool deck. This is complimented by a queen bedroom again with it's own en suite bathroom. The home then has 2 fantastic twin rooms sharing a family bathroom for the kids.
The family space is large and open planned with a well equipped kitchen for all of your self catering needs. 2 dining tables and an extremely large L shaped sofa looking to watch the large flatscreen TV and look out to the pool area.
The pool area boasts an East facing pool deck with a good sized lanai to cover yourself from the day of sunshine should you need to escape the Florida sun. A large pool and spa that can be heated upon request is the perfect way to spend the day with the family on a down day from the parks and all of Central Floridas attractions.
Walt Disney World is 5 miles from your front door at this house. You will also have with your reservation in this home free Wi-Fi and free local calls, as well as a washer and dryer in the home for your convenience.
Please note that with your home you have a private outside pool and spa. This can be heated but there is an additional charge for this option. This charge will be $32.50 per day (+taxes) with a minimum 5 day use. Please do make sure you request this service either at the time of your reservation or at the very least 72 hours before arrival so that it gives us an opportunity to have your pool and spa heated in time for your stay. We typically recommend pool heating for guests staying between the months of October and April.
Please note that charcoal grills are prohibited from use at our home but we can rent you a gas grill for your stay. Please enquire about costs for rental when you book the home.
Please also note that there are parking restrictions on this community. The driveway for this home accommodates 2 cars comfortably, there is a limit to 4 cars per household. If you have more than four cars, they must be parked outside the gated community. No unregistered, inoperable, commercial, bus, trailer, RV or boat is allowed. No parking on any grass, sidewalk or curbing. Parking pass must be visible at all times.

This is a self catering home so please be sure to stop by your nearest supermarket to purchase personal toiletries and desired meals. As per Florida State recommendations, we are not allowed to leave open food in the refrigerators or kitchen closets, hence all food items will be removed after a guest checks out and supplies of items such as condiments, sugar, salt and pepper, tea, coffee etc, will be not be provided prior to your check in. We will provide a starter roll of toilet paper at each toilet, a bin liner in each bin, hand soap in the bathrooms, as well as a dishwasher tab. Towels and linens are included in your stay.

Amazing place very quiet and relaxing wish the pool was warmer but manageable. I'm sure if it was either full summer or winter when the heater is on it would be warm enough to swim all day. But hey who needs a pool all day when all the attractions are minuets away! Great place and we'll kept!

House was clean. The hot tub, wasn't a hot tub, no heat. The house did not have sufficient amount of towels. No wash clothes. My wife and I had to go out and buy wash clothes for ourselves and our kids to take showers and to bathe. First Time I have ever had an issue with that. Definitely bring some with you unless you want to go shopping for something that should have been furnished. The shower door in master bedroom wanted to come off track, so be careful with that. The main issue I have is with the security guard for the last night. Every other guard that was there the rest of the week was nice, just waved us through. I know he was probably doing his job, but being extremely rude wasn't in job description I say. The other days before we entered the resort area, the guards asked us our business, we told them address of house we were renting. They waved us through and let us go. The guy the last day said he would not let us through because we did not have a parking pass or copy of the rental paperwork. I told him I was never told I needed these items. I tried to tell him what the others did, he said he did not care. I suggested the others should be fired for not doing their job. He wrote us a parking pass after I suggested I would call the police for not letting me and my family at least retrieve our luggage and clothes. I would rent this house again, but I definitely would go an alternate route if possible.
