This spacious chapel conversion offers ground floor facilities, a wood burner and fishing nearby.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner provided.. Patio with garden furniture. Bike store. Parking for one car. Please note: No children. There is a fenced pond in the grounds.. Greengage is a romantic hideaway enjoying a private and peaceful location within a sheep grazed orchard and sharing its surroundings with another holiday property, Russet (CC245031). The accommodation is all on one level, has an open plan layout and includes a wood burner in the lounge and picturesque views from its patio. Skipsea’s sandy beach, two pubs, a restaurant and shops are just under a mile, and the local leisure park’s gym and indoor swimming pool are two miles.
Further up the coast there are the traditional seaside resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough. Bempton Cliffs bird reserve is well worth a visit where you will see puffins, guillemots and seals in their natural habitat. It’s a perfect base to see what Yorkshire has to offer from the North York Moors to the east coast and The Wolds there’s so much to see and do. York, Scarborough and Pickering are about an hour’s drive. Sledmere House is just one of many stately homes you can visit as well as Sewerby Hall and Burton Agnes Hall, all close by. For evening entertainment there’s plenty in Bridlington with The Spa hosting International shows all year round.

Beautiful cottage in a fabulous setting. Everything we needed for our stay. Convenient for Everything we wanted to do. Really loved watching the sheep in the surrounding field and listening to all the wildlife. Very quiet and peaceful, just what we needed whilst we wait for our new house in the next village to be ready.

We had an excellent week staying at the Greengage Cottage. It was in an extremely convenient location for visiting a lot of local sites including animal parks, beaches and nature trails. We highly recommend a visit to Fraisthorpe beach when the weather's right, it's stunning. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and warm. Our hosts were exceptional and left us a generous hamper of goodies on our arrival which was unexpected and delicious. Thank you for a fantastic week!

A lovely one bedroom bungalow in a very rural location. ( very interesting sheep as neighbours ! ).
The property is beautifully presented, very clean, modern and comfortable. The " welcome pack" was superb, a very special treat, the best ever, much appreciated. The location is very quiet but be aware that there are very few local amenities, one shop and one pub approximately a mile away, a car is essential. However, it is ideally placed for visiting many places on the East coast from Whitby to Hull. There are some great beaches and the RSPB site at Bempton cliffs is a must. We were very fortunate in having lovely weather all week and had a super holiday at Greengage.
The owners, who live nearby, were very welcoming.
