No need to rent a car, although gated parking is provided. 10 minutes from Luis Munoz International Airport (SJU) and only 10 min Uber ride to Old San Juan. Host informed us of the renovation in the building. The apartment was newly done but the hall and common areas felt old and a bit grungy. He informed us of the ongoing electrical issues since hurricane Maria .iand we experienced an island wide blackout. Lucky for us there was a Wahlgreen down the street where we got ourselves flashlights and a portable charger for our cell phones.
