About this apartment rental

Trailside Villa Suite is located in an upscale area in our City of Duncan BC Canada. Our suite is private , with a key lock entry. You will not share the space with anyone else. We have approx 400 sq. Ft. of living space for the unit. There is a private bedroom with a queen bed and also a double sofa bed in the sitting room. The quests are happy with the 4 piece bathroom , as some like to soak in the tub at the end of a big day. The little kitchen area has all the essentials for a microwave meal, coffee, tea, toast etc. The suite is on the garden side of our home where you will enjoy our pond , bushes and flowers as well as your private outside deck which is very peaceful . We are close to the hospital, grocery stores, laundry mat, restaurants and pubs. Duncan is situated between Victoria BC and Nanaimo BC , and is therefore a perfect destination for all your day trips and sight seeing adventures. Have fun touring Vancouver Island.

Our host was extremely nice. The gardens are just beautiful. We had lovely weather which always helps, but it is a lovely place. The suite is extremely clean and well-appointed and the bed was comfy. We would definitely stay here again. Duncan is a fun little town with good restaurants. And….the mountains add to the trip.

Berta was a wonderful host for myself, my friend and my 2-year-old. We appreciated the quiet, private suite and the garden view! The space was cozy, comfortable and well-organized. It is close enough to downtown to have many options for dining and shopping, but far enough away to feel quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay again.

Had a relaxing 2 night stay at this location. The beautiful garden suite was well equipped, well beyond expectations, The bed was extremely comfortable, beautiful comfy pillows, duvet, silky sheets. My husband and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The host, Berta, was so hospitable. The accommodations were impeccably clean, the soaking tub was wonderful, so much detail was put into the apartment. The garden was beautiful, peaceful and was so enjoyable watching the hummingbirds during the day and hearing the frogs at night. It’s situated in a beautiful neighborhood, close to everything we wanted to do. Would love to stay here again if visiting Vancouver Island.

This is one classy place to stay. The rental is located in a lovely area close to town. The suite is perfect in every way. It is immaculate, It has everything you could need and more! The rooms are exceptionally clean. There wasn't a single thing out of place. The amenities provided are top notch. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows excellent. The location is great it was very close to my sister's place. If you like hiking or running on trails there is a very extensive network just out the door. Would definitely stay again.

The owners are wonderful people who are very accommodating and have though of everything you need for a lovely stay in Duncan. Every time i thought I'd need something I'd just look in a drawer or cupboard and it was already there. The garden and surroundings are so beautiful, and it's a quiet neighborhood so you'll have a peaceful stay. I'll stay here every time i visit if it's available. These people care about the quality of your stay and it shows.

We were quite lucky to find Berta's place available in the height of summer. I think it's the best location to get to most tourist spots in the island. Berta is the ultimate host trying to accommodate our needs and more. Only hiccup was when we shopped for dinner to cook and found out there's no full kitchen! But that's my bad for not really reading the details of the kitchenette. This place is for those who don't really want to cook as there's no full on kitchen with stove and sink. We had to wash out dishes in the bathroom sink. But we had a good night's rest, which is what's important for our trip! The airconditiong in also made us all comfortable after spending the day out in the sun! Thank you, Berta!

Beautiful property. Great location. Easy to access. Very clean and well set up. The garden area was beautiful and peaceful, a great place to relax after a day of touring the Island. The owners were take great pride in their property and were very friendly and helpful. It turns out they were originally from our home town which was pretty neat. They provided a variety of welcoming treats when we got there as well as great recommendations. Alberta and Ken were excellent hosts and it was a pleasure to stay there.
