Your perfect weekend getaway awaits you at Lumen Nature Retreat. Stay in one of our Luxury Safari Tents and experience camping at a whole new level. With hotel-level amenities, luxury brand name king-size bed and fresh linens, just renovated & climate controlled bathhouse, as well as waterfront views, the open starry sky, and the views of the White Mountains, it’s the perfect place to getaway and reconnect with the things that matter.
You’re about to book a Luxury Safari Tent. Ultra-comfortable, with lots of space, and a large deck, this is the perfect bedroom in the woods for your special nature getaway.
Inside you’ll find a comfortable room for 2 people with a luxury, brand-name bed and king mattress, as well as fresh linens and towels. Additionally, the safari tent comes fully equipped with all of the kitchen essentials, a charging station for your devices, and a spacious dining room set.
Outside the tent, we’ve got you covered with a fantastic firepit & grill, Adirondack chairs overlooking the woods, a comfy hammock, a picnic table, and, of course, a beautiful private setting surrounded by trees, overlooking the mountains in the background.
Within just a 2-3 minute walk, you’ll have access to our just-renovated, climate-controlled bathhouse with designer finishes, high-end toiletries, hot showers, and everything you need for your comfort while you’re staying with us.
Heating system: For stays, after September 15th we provide a portable propane heater unit inside each tent to warm up during the colder nights.

The Lumen Nature Retreat was a fantastic choice for a first time camper, like myself. The campsite was a perfect retreat at the end of a day of hiking, and provided the comforts of a beautifully maintained bathroom/shower that was a quick walk from my site. The safari tent was a great choice too, with plenty of space to get settled with a nice comfy bed to rest at the end of a long day. The fire pit was also a great way to warm up on a nice crisp fall day too. Also, communication with with staff to acquire any needed items was always fast and friendly.
Overall, I cannot recommend Lumen Nature Retreat enough! Deff a 10/10 for me! Can't wait to go back!
