We really did enjoy the location. A little cramped with 2 adults and 2 kids but we knew what we rented. I would ask the property manager to turn on ac ahead of your stay as took almost 7 hours to cool off. The see saw was also broken so be careful. Great though

We were alittle skeptical at first of the water front.. but knew it has been very common because of drought that water levels have been low.. but it was plenty deep for my kiddos to play and swim. The cottage was perfectly clean, nicely decorated, and cold when we arrived. The kids enjoyed playing the games outside and I enjoyed sitting outside at night and watching the deer that made their way to the water… we caught fish and swam. One tip I can offer is to bring water shoes and folding chairs.. The sand was super soft but there were some spots with clams that could be a little sharp. Great time overall.. house was well stocked with what we needed to enjoy our time there. Property owner was very responsive to questions or concerns! Would definitely book again.

The cottage is adorable. Probably too small for 4 adults and a 4 year old but we made it work. Beds comfy and cozy. The property is awesome with all kinds of things to explore and enjoy. The river swimming area was perfect for my daughters and I to entertain my grandson. The wedding party that was there had a firework show!! The only two issues were minor and quickly fixed. My confirmation email didn't have the code for the lock box so we sat there a bit trying to reach the owners. Then, the stove top didn't work at first. Had a video call and it needed reset at the breaker. The kitchen was well equipped. There were plenty of towels. We had a blast! Next time, I'll get a little bigger cottage for a ladies trip! Definitely booking again!

Lake view, big open grass area just for the cabin. Wonderful property, as a wedding venue there were photo ops everywhere. Swimming and fishing.
