At the end of a private lane and surrounded by neighbouring fields, High View is within walking distance of the village pub and community-run shop. The village is nestled on the edge of the tors and natural beauty of Bodmin Moor.. Ground Floor:

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge
First Floor:
Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electricity and Oil central heating included. Bed linen and towels. Wi-Fi. Initial logs for wood burner is free of charge thereafter, £5 per bag. Cot and highchair available on request. Washing machine and tumble dryer available by arrangement. Sitting-out area. Private parking. EV charging point available. Barbecue available on request. Cot & Highchairs on request, limited availability, please request on booking form. Garage storage available for bikes/surf boards. No smoking. Up to 3 dogs permitted.. Located at the end of a private lane on the edge of Cornwall’s highest village of St Breward, Sandy Barn Cottages comprises three beautifully converted holiday barns (refs B5718, B5719 and W44032) and the owner’s own home, forming a secluded courtyard of 200-year-old granite buildings. The dog-friendly cottages are all tastefully furnished with many character features including slate floors and exposed beams. High View is semi detached with views over neighbouring fields.
Ideally situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor for exploring the landscape of tors and moorland. Enjoy walking, cycling, riding, fishing or simply relaxing. The nearest beach of Trebarwith Strand is 20 minutes’ away, but may favourites such as Whitehaven, Daymer Bay, Polzeath and Trevone are within 30-40 minutes’. With the beaches of the North Cornwall coast within 12 miles, visitors can enjoy the best of coast and countryside, alternating their days between tranquil landscapes, coastal walks and seaside fun at the beaches.
Places of interest such as Wadebridge, Padstow, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel. The National Trust property at Lanhydrock, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are also within easy reach for a day out.
Sandy Barn Cottages are tucked away, surrounded by fields, but still in the heart of the village. Local amenities comprise of a village shop and pub serving food, both within easy walking distance, ¼ mile.

We had such a lovely time staying at High View. Kate was a welcoming host, nothing was too much trouble.
The cottage was very well equipped and beautifully decorated. Perfect size for two people.
It is nested in a lovely little courtyard surrounded by Kate's other cottages in Saint Breward, a nice little town with a pub/ restaurant and post office should you need any bread and other bits.
Would have given 10/10 but my partner didn't find the bed too comfy (definitely personal preference as I found it extremely comfy!!)
