GITE A LA PETITE FONTAINE-RDC

We had a lovely time in the beautiful house and great garden. Marina was very helpful and we enjoyed all the homemade confiture and baked goods enormously!

Les attentions multiples de Marina et sa grande générosité de coeur nous ont fait passés un we merveilleux!!!!! le soleil le ciel beu et la nature eclatante des vosges du nord en multiplie nos sensations de bien être et d'harmonie..en ce 06 decembre.. Lieu rare parce que marina et eric en sont les créateurs avec leur grande joie de vivre et d'acceuillir l'autre..... DU BONHEUR A SAVOURER A LA PTITE FONTAINEGRACE A MARINA....FAFA

We stayed a very wonderful and relaxing week with our wonderful hosts. This was our first in this part of France -- now one of our favorite places. The house is very Alsacian, incredibly comfortable, and shows the skilled and loving touches of people who really care about their house. The gardens are beautiful and a relaxing place to spend an afternoon. We were greeted with a bottle of local wine and a traditional Alsacian cake -- and flowers from the garden. The next morning we found a jar of homemade jam on our doorstep (happened several times). We spend a very nice and chatty afternoon with our hosts in the garden on a hot, sunny day, and an evening in their home sharing wonderful savory treats. We stayed in several other house in Alsace during our holiday, but we must say that this was by far our favorite. When you have a small bouquet of fresh picked flowers tucked under your windshield wipers of your car when you leave, it is just a special place. Our hosts were not able to be there when we left -- had they been, we might not have been able to leave. You may have the idea by now that we really liked this house and our hosts. We were able to take numerous day trips and explore the northern Alsace region with ease. Langenzoltzbach is a small village with no real shops, but within minutes you have everything you need. It's incredibly easy to hike various directions from trails that pass through or originate in the village. And there are some Roman artifacts in the church. The photos and descriptions are understated at the very least. Absolutely everything is equal to or better than depicted. We would recommend this house to anyone. It is perfect.

We found this stay to be very good, very friendly owner who frequently supplied us with treats. The only downside is that there are pictures of the two properties on this site (upstairs & downstairs) & you don’t know which one you are getting, we thought we booked the upstairs one, but ended up downstairs. This wasn’t too bad as you have good access to the outside courtyard to sit and eat or just relax but if you are unfortunate enough to get small children upstairs running about early in the morning like us then you can get a disturb nights sleep.
