Escape to Rye and enjoy sweeping views across Port Phillip Bay from this spacious 4-bedroom coastal retreat. Perfect for families, multiple families or groups of friends, the home sleeps up to 10 guests and offers plenty of space to relax, both indoors and out.
Set in a peaceful, elevated location, the home features beautiful bay and Arthurs Seat views, a cosy open fireplace, two outdoor decks, a large backyard and everything you need for a relaxed Mornington Peninsula getaway. On New Year’s Eve, the elevated position also provides a fantastic spot to watch the fireworks across the bay.
The Space
Ideally located just 2km from Rye front beach, around 5 minutes from Peninsula Hot Springs and 5 minutes from Rye Ocean Beach, the property is also within easy reach of Alba Thermal Springs & Spa, golf courses, wineries, breweries and many of the Peninsula’s best attractions.
The home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests across four bedrooms:
• Master bedroom – Queen bed, built-in robes and ensuite
• Bedroom 2 – Queen bed and built-in robes
• Bedroom 3 – Queen bed and built-in robes
• Bedroom 4 – Two bunk beds and TV
There are two bathrooms, including the master ensuite, plus a separate toilet.
The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, sandwich press, air fryer and everything needed for easy meals during your stay.
The comfortable lounge features an open wood fireplace, couch and TV – perfect for cosy winter evenings.
Outside, enjoy the front deck with views across the bay towards Arthurs Seat, or relax on the rear deck and large backyard while enjoying the afternoon sun. There is plenty of space for families to spread out and enjoy their stay.
Complimentary Wi-Fi, board games and a selection of indoor and outdoor activities are provided, along with all linen and towels. The laundry includes an all-in-one washer/dryer.
Rye’s cafés, restaurants, pubs, shops and supermarkets are only a short drive away, while Peninsula Hot Springs, Alba Thermal Springs & Spa, golf courses, horse riding, wineries and breweries are all within easy reach.

The house has beautiful views in a quiet part of Rye but still close to everything. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive to requests. We enjoyed our stay here.

Our recent stay here over the new year period was great. This a fabulous house for a large family or two small families to stay that has an amazing view high up in the hills. On New Year’s Eve we had 180 degree view of the fireworks! The house furnishings and amenities were nicely done, spacious, and rooms were very comfortable. Our host was extremely attentive to our requests and was so very helpful. I recommend this place for a great getaway as it is close to the beaches, shops and golf courses, and yet is very quiet and removed from the school holiday chaos.
