Perfect for a quick getaway! Elk Horn Lodge's double queen room sleeps up to four people. All of our rooms come furnished and with a balcony; great for just sitting back with a cup of Joe and watching the sunrise (or sunset) over Angel Fire. Included in this room are your own TV, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker (don't worry, coffee is on us), and toiletries. Please be aware this room is on the second floor and stairs are required to reach the entrance. During the winter months, please keep in mind you are traveling to the mountains. All our properties are maintained by professional snow-plowmen; we make every effort to ensure the property is accessible upon arrival. However, please be prepared for extreme weather conditions. A 4WD or AWD vehicle is highly recommended. Resort Properties of Angel Fire cannot be responsible for guests unable to reach the booked property due to a lack of a 4WD/AWD vehicle.
PET FRIENDLY: If bringing a pet, there is a non-refundable pet fee of $50 plus tax and 1 dog max.

ANGEL FIRE RESORT: Wintertime offers several mountain activities, such as downhill and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, snow-tubing, and sports lessons. In the summertime, the outdoor fun continues with mountain biking, zip-lining, scenic chairlift rides, disc golf, hiking, tennis, golf, pickle-ball, and fishing (1.0 mile/ 3-minute drive).
ANGEL FIRE COUNTRY CLUB: Open to the public. A fitness center and indoor heated pool are available for a small fee. Fine dining and full bar at Elements (1.8 mile/ 5-minute drive).
GOLF COURSES: Angel Fire Resort Golf Course (4.1 miles), Valley Escondido Golf Course (15.6 miles).
DAY TRIPS: Taos and Taos Pueblo Village (24.9 miles), Taos Ski Valley (43.7 miles), Rio Grande Gorge Bridge (36.6 miles), and Santa Fe (92.6 miles).
RESTAURANTS: El Jefe, Village Haus Restaurant & Bar, Pizza Stop, Angel Fired Pizza, Enchanted Circle Brewing Company, The Bakery & Café @ Angel Fire, Mikuna Grill, Zeb's, and Elements @ the Angel Fire Country Club.

Property was easy to find and centrally located in Angel Fire. The property was freshly painted and in good standing order. Without an AC it can be a bit warm until the sun goes down, so plan on a fan. Overall I would rate this property for its location and fresh paint an A. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to sleep for their visit to Angel Fire.

Nice room,very clean. A good place for the family. No extra frills or amenities but thats all we need for quick ski trip. Will definitely stay again. Great value

The snow wasn’t shoveled and the parking area was a slick mess, but we found the place without a problem. Getting to our room was scary, a dirty outdated mess with construction/renovation obviously in progress, and made me really worry my room might be awful. Then the door code didn’t work. My phone has no service inside or outside not sure why, so I couldn’t call or text anyone, but I connected to the Wi-Fi easily and emailed from my phone. Someone had to come reset the code or something, and then we got into a clean room with very comfy beds and a good shower.
