It features high 9' ceilings, recessed lighting, exposed brick, good natural light, and a large open sitting room and kitchen, which gives it a spacious light feeling. All new floors, an open full Bosch kitchen with counter seating, and a bath with an exposed brick walk-in shower round out the thoughtful details in making this a comfortable and desirable retreat.
The bedroom has a queen bed and, a large closet, and the living room has a comfortable queen sleeper sofa. The full bath is off the hallway and also has a direct door to the bedroom.
This lovely apartment is on Gallery Row (R Street between Connecticut and 21st Street), a stone's throw from The Phillips Collection, a fabulous private art museum. and home to interesting restaurants, cafes, bistros, shops, galleries, museums jazz clubs, and parks.
A local Market is close by, there are ample cuisine choices on the block and very nearby. A unique grocery store is just 4 blocks away on 14th St.
You are in an ideal location for transit, 1.5 blocks away from the DuPont Metro Station (Red Line) at 20th and Q St. Leave your car at home, having a car in DC is more a liability than a convenience! If you are driving to DC and need parking, we do have one parking space (nightly fee) behind the home, check with us on availability. We can also order you a street parking permit. Please check with us first on this, we will need the car make, model, and the plate state & number.

Clean, well stocked, apartment in an attractive neighborhood, 5 min. walk to DuPont Circle Metro, and close to restaurants. Great location to walk to the zoo and take metro to mall for museum visits and concerts. Charlotte was helpful to us in finding this place to suit our needs.

When we arrived, the door code did not work and it took three hours before the property manager contacted us. The reserved parking spot was not defined and at one point someone else parked there. Lots of texts from the manager to move the car, all of which should have been avoided by information and proper designation of the parking space. The apartment is extremely well located and pretty nice and relativley new, all very positive facts.
