About this apartment rental

"Welcome to Ocean Reef, Gulf Shores, Alabama! Enjoy your stay at Ocean Reef 901, a unique three-story beachfront townhome situated in the southeastern corner of the Ocean Reef complex. This spacious 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom property boasts 1,600 square feet and offers direct access to 200 feet of private white sand beach. This low-density complex, with only 45 units, ensures a serene and family-friendly environment. What's special? The unit spans all three floors, offering exclusivity with no unit above or below.

Inside, the first floor comprises a full kitchen, dining area, living room, and a half bath. The second floor hosts the master bedroom with a King bed, TV, and a private bath, along with a second bedroom featuring a Queen bed, TV, and a full bath, plus a washer and dryer. The third floor offers a Full bed, and an added delight—a Jacuzzi tub! The living room also provides a Queen sofa sleeper for extra guests. The well-furnished kitchen is equipped with appliances and dishes, so you only need to bring groceries.
After the offseason due to Hurricane Sally, Ocean Reef has upgraded to high-speed WIFI, improved cable, and updated pool furniture. Grills are available in the pool area (first come, first served).

Located at the heart of Gulf Shores, just a short four-block walk from the Hangout and numerous shopping and dining options, this unit is rapidly becoming a popular family destination in the area.
Winter Season bookings (January and February) require a 60-day minimum stay for reservations made before October 1st. Reservations made after October 1st range between three or seven nights, based on unit specifications.
Please note: The Jacuzzi tub on the third floor is currently out of service, awaiting a part.

Additional Information:
Parking Passes are required, available upon arrival or by contacting the office. Only two parking passes per reservation are permitted for a maximum of two cars. Linens are provided but bring your beach towels. A 'starter set' of essentials is included in the reservation.

adhering to policies requiring renters to be at least 25 years old, provide a photo ID at check-in, and abide by a no smoking and no pets policy. A camera is installed for security and insurance purposes at the entry door.

We loved the home everything you could need was available and being on the beach was just perfect. Only thing that would have been better was the beds the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Either new mattress or maybe some very plush toppers would help

This property was in a great location and clean. The parking is one of the better options at this complex with side by side parking. We had everything we needed. They were easy to communicate with and very helpful! The condo could use some updating, and the complex could do better to keep the beach access from becoming an entrance for the public to sneak through; we have always loved Ocean Reef for the low crowd, but this time we watched many walk across the street and onto the beach.

The location made up for a lot of the shortcomings but I expected more for what we paid. We had dirty sheets, dirty towels, broken eyelet burner, no hot water for jacuzzi tub (known problem by owner but they don’t have the part to fix it yet and we weren’t told until after we put in a work order), broken pans, mattresses uncomfortable and could feel the springs, caulked on microwave handle and numerous deferred maintenance items throughout the home. The manager was very friendly and responsive and the cleaning crew came back to change sheets. When we booked we could see the home was outdated but it was in worse condition than expected.
