Within the gated resort of Litchfield by the Sea, the Marsh Hawk villas occupy a quiet niche poised on the edge of a pristine saltmarsh within the embrace of majestic live oaks. The peaceful Lowcountry backwater view is beautifully framed through the living room and primary bedroom suite windows of this top floor condo.
The community pool is only steps away. The beach is an easy walk with scenic views along the way. If transporting beach provisions is important, take the car or rent a golf cart. Beachside parking is two minutes away!

SINGLE FLOOR: 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, laundry closet, kitchen, dining/living area, front porch.
AMENITIES: Smart TVs-4 with cable (LR, all BRs), DVD-1, wireless internet, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig and drip coffee makers, full size refrigerator, washer/dryer, heat/AC, saltmarsh view, primary en suite bath features double sinks, walk-in shower and garden tub, front porch, private community pool with grilling area, common-use beachside parking, walkable access to 7 miles of beach.
HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping are additional costs for monthly stays.
POOL ACCESS: The Marsh Hawk community has five “4-villa” buildings, and Villa 1-D is nearest to the pool, providing poolside furnishings, grilling area, and restrooms. (No pool heat. Seasonal use subject to HOA management.)
BEACH ACCESS: Approx. 10-minute walk. Follow Retreat Beach Circle east toward the ocean, going by lake and saltmarsh vistas. Once at the traffic circle fountain, continue toward the ocean to the left of the tennis courts where the resort’s oceanfront common-use parking area and sundecks are located. Amenities in this area include deck seating, rinsing showers, and restroom facilities.
LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday stays in summer. Partial week stays may be considered for last-minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.
LITCHFIELD BY THE SEA: A gated coastal paradise on one of the finest beaches along the east coast. Enjoy outdoor pickleball/tennis courts as well as miles of biking and walking paths within a tropical coastal setting. Fish in the surf or on the freshwater lake. Take a dip in the pool, splash in the ocean waves, and beachcomb along the shore. Capture saltmarsh vistas and fascinating shorebird life. Explore Brookgreen Gardens, Huntington Beach State Park, and historic Georgetown. Experience nearby award-winning golf courses and chartered boating excursions. Sample exceptional local restaurants – many within walking distance or an easy drive away.
GOLF CARTS are a fun, convenient way to shuttle the family and gear to and from the beach. Call us about golf cart rentals in the area (guests cannot bring trailered vehicles into the resort).
RESORT FEE: A mandatory Resort Fee of $15 per reserved night ($210 cap) required by the Litchfield by the Sea HOA is subject to taxes and must be collected in full on each reservation.
DISCLOSURE: One outdoor Kami home camera faces the front porch.
No Smoking. No Pets (resort rules prohibit guest pets).

The property was beautiful. We really enjoyed how updated the bedrooms and living area were also the pool was very private and close by. This was also a short walk to the beach. It was a pleasure to stay here.
