Location is excellent and the view and property are beautiful. Property did have smell of smoke in the kitchen trash area that didn’t fade. So we didn’t do too much in the kitchen.

As the owner of this unit, this is not an unbiased review. My family has been visiting Sand Cay for more than 30 years. We love the warm, family atmosphere, the incredible staff, and the unbeatable location. Panoramic gulf views and spectacular sunsets make each day special. Sand Cay offers a warm welcome to all of its guests.

great view, but the apartment is falling into disrepair. We have been renting this apartment for many years and note with regret that the owner invests almost nothing in the property. it just pumps money out of what it has. the electric stove requires replacement, the guest toilet and shower were used by previous guests where they kept a cat (we can’t eliminate the smell of cat urine), there was no filter in the air conditioner (we immediately developed allergies), the mattresses were very hard, it felt like we were sleeping on boards, the towel holder is falling off the wall in the guest bathroom, the wicker chest in the living room is filled with dust and it would be better to throw it in the trash long ago (another source of allergies), the carpet in the bedrooms has not been changed for many years (another source of allergies, repainting is necessary, people in unit bellow were constantly smoking marijuana ( can enjoy our view from the balcony and smells in our unit too during a night)and etc.
