Perfect for a romantic getaway for two, it features a magnificent wall of windows, a private hot tub, and a cozy gas fireplace. Relax on expansive decks or explore some nature trails. This luxurious retreat brings the beauty of nature right to your doorstep.
The Space:
Prepare to say "Wow!" as you step inside Fern Villa. The hero of our cabin is the incredible wall of windows and soaring ceilings in the open-plan living area, creating a bright, airy space to relax and connect with nature.
The cabin is designed for you to enjoy time together, whether you're inside admiring the view or outside on the large upper and lower decks feeling the breeze.
Key Features & Amenities:
Living Area: Cozy up by the indoor gas fireplace on a comfortable sofa while enjoying the stunning woodland views.
Kitchen: A fully equipped modern kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a coffee maker, and all the cookware needed to prepare a delicious meal.
Master Suite: The spacious master suite is located on the upper level, complete with an ensuite bathroom with a tile shower and direct access to the upper deck.
Outdoor Living: Enjoy a private hot tub for soaking after a day of hiking, an outdoor firepit for evening gatherings, and expansive upper and lower decks with outdoor seating.
Entertainment: A second common area downstairs is the perfect spot for a game or movie night.
Guest Access:
Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire main and upper levels of the 1-bedroom configuration of Fern Villa. This includes the master suite, kitchen, living areas, decks, and your private hot tub.
Please note: The two bedrooms and the bathroom on the lower level are not included in this listing and will be locked and inaccessible during your stay.

Property Configuration: This listing is for the 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom configuration of Fern Villa. The lower level, which contains two additional bedrooms and a bathroom, will be locked and inaccessible during your stay.
Neighboring Cabin: Our other rental, Fern Haven, is also located on the same 5-acre property. Each cabin was intentionally placed to maintain privacy, but please be mindful of any guests who may be staying nearby.
Lodging Tax: Please be aware that Vinton County requires a 6% lodging tax, which will be collected with your booking.
Interaction with Guests:
We prioritize your privacy and offer a seamless self-check-in process. We will not be present on the property during your stay, allowing you to fully disconnect and enjoy your retreat. However, we are always available and responsive via the Airbnb messaging platform should you have any questions or need assistance.

What a beautiful cabin with an amazing wall of windows overlooking the woods! We were lucky to stay during a period of light snow and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the comfy couch sipping tea and watching the snow fall. The hot tub was perfect to wind down at the end of the day! The kitchen had just about all of the equipment you would need to cook/bake, and salt and pepper. I suggest bringing foil, baggies, etc, if you are cooking and might have leftovers. We bought breakfast staples at Grandma Faye's Grocery, grabbed some yummy pizza and garlic knots at Papa Dino's, and had a delicious dinner (and Campfire Porter!) at 58 West. The maple cinnamon roll and Chai Fireside Tea at Hocking Hills Coffee Emporium was a great treat! I hope we are able to return to enjoy the view and disconnect again!
