About this chalet rental

A true cabin in the woods. Escape to Cosagach Falls in the Highlands of Scotland, a natural idlers paradise for two, nestled by a quiet stream amidst an enchanting 400-acre Native Scottish Forest estate with gentle waterfalls in the Strathglass Valley.

The comfortable cabin features a Charnwood eco log-burner to keep you cosy of an evening. With large windows to showcase its forest surround, you'll be completely secluded and can enjoy a digital detox whilst soaking in the sounds of the stream and silver birch forest.

Step inside into the open plan living area, with a mezzanine super-king size bed and a star-gazing roof window, accessed via a wooden ladder. A large, comfortable sofa and contemporary kitchen - including oven, kettle, small fridge and hob, naturally blend all the convenience of cosy modern living with a rustic escape. You'll find one luxury bathroom with shower, basin and WC.

Head outside onto the balcony where you can relax on a hammock, reconnect with nature and toast some marshmallows around the Chiminea. Situated just 30 minutes from Loch Ness and Glen Affric, the area is an abundance of classic Scottish landscapes, with perfectly placed lochs and mountains to explore. 20 minutes away, the village of Beauly: the starting point for the infamous North Coast 500.

Please note that there is a CCTV camera installed at the back of the cabin.

We had a great time and really appreciated the spacious bathroom. The trails around the hut were a bit harder to explore then expected but overall it was a wonderful and cozy place for a time out. New yoga mat (and maybe two) would be really cool!

Such a great stay here in the little cabin! We loved the amenities (kitchen space, towel heater, wood burning stove), and this was a perfect place to stay on our honeymoon! After long hikes and days filled with exploration, this was a perfect refuge to come back too. If we werent coming from so far away we certainly would be back. Thankyou for making this such a pleasant and hassle free lodging!

Our second stay in this lovely cabin. A glimpse of the tree marker, no badger this time. We did think we had some visits of a wild cat. Less birds than last year, dont know why. But we did enjoy it, no doubt about it! Good coffee and cake in the post office, we love the village stores in Scotland! The Indian restaurant is also very good.

We had an amazing time in the cabin, listening to the birds, willow warbles and chaffinch' this morning. It was a great place to relax and wind down in front of the fire at the end of the day. We had a great time exploring, going for a dip in Plodda Falls ad Dog Falls as well as an epic hike. Very grateful for the shower here back at the cabin after that day! Cant wait to come back, loved every second!

The windows surrounding the cabin allowance for an all round view of the area (which there is plenty of things to see). Easy instructions and easy access, with an attentive host, I strongly recommend a visit to this cab for anyone looking to visit rural Scotland. Just remember to bring the wellies if it's raining!
