The location was lovely, the cottage was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. A freshly baked loaf on arrival was a lovely extra touch.

Beautiful location, peaceful, quiet with stunning Highland scenery. About 40 mins drive from Inverness Airport, so really easy to get to. We hired a car and travelled about 400 miles during our week stay, mostly just exploring the local Glens and walking some lovely trails. Loch Ness is not far but we didn't even make it there, preferring to visit the local places recommend by Becky and Warwick in their detailed hand book for the cottage.
We will just have to come back!
Nan's Cottage is clean, well equipped and furnished beautifully. As a family, of 4, it had everything we needed for our stay. The staircase is steep, so not recommend for anyone with mobility or knee issues, and I wouldn't to carry a baby up or down, but for us with 2 older children, it was fine.
The cottage owners were in touch before and during our stay to check all was OK and were on hand if anything was needed - which it wasn't as it was all so lovely!
There was nothing we didn't like. It was a beautiful cottage in a beautiful place.

The location is stunning! Nan's cottage has an amazing view and its very private.
The beds are super comfy and the shower is really good.
The wood log burner is really nice to have at the end of a long day.
The stairs to the second floor are a bit steep.
I was not traveling with my elderly parents as I planned in the end, but if I was this may have been an issue for them.
