About this house rental
Summary:
Take a morning stroll by the water, explore the park or just enjoy the lake view with your morning coffee on the front porch. The comfy 2 queen beds w/ TVs in this 2 BR/2 Bath lake house has all the amenities to unwind-or stay connected! Large family room TV w/ live cable or ROKU apps to stream - as well as a business station in BR2. For an additional $15/day pet fee we offer a fenced in yard to roam while attended and a dog crate for your pet. We also have a pack n play & high chair as needed.
The Space:
We are excited to share our newly remodeled home that sits literally hundreds of feet from Summit Lake. You'll love the view especialy at night with the City lights shimmering off the water.
Everything you will need is on the main floor. There are 5 steps up from the ground level to the main floor of the house. Inside you'll find 2 cozy and nicely decorated bedrooms, each with a large closet, TV's and alarm clocks.
The living room is perfect for a small gathering or watching your favorite movie or TV show. There is 1 main bathroom, with a full size tub, and 1 bathroom off the master bedroom that contains a standup neo-angle shower.
Our kitchen has every amenity necessary to prepare a meal or heat up those left overs from one of Akron's many restaurants. There is a small 2 seat table in the kitchen as well as a formal dining room with plenty of seating for your whole group.
The front porch has a nice seating area that's great for morning coffee or watching the sunset on the lake.
If you need to wash clothes during your stay, there is a High Efficiency Front Loader Washer and Dryer in the basement.

Quiet neighborhood right on Summit lake, close to downtown, and easy access to and from the highway

The home was very clean, nice and neat. The host was great and so helpful with everything. We didn't use the kitchen much. Very quiet and peaceful there. We hope to come back for another hiking days at the national park. Thank you.

The hosts have done a fantastic job of providing a clean and tidy home with all the essentials needed. Beds are comfortable. Linens and towels were a nice quality. Kitchen is adequately stocked and had delightful finds for a child of the 70’s with Tupperware measuring cups and colored glasses. It was a plus to have everything needed for a cup of coffee or tea. The lake has a lovely walking trail around it and the wildlife was fun to watch. Overall, this property is a delightful spot!

The house is cozy, clean, and in a great location for enjoying Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Our dog loved the fenced-in back yard. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Everything was excellent and exceeded our expectations!

The host was absolutely wonderful. He was welcoming and contacted beforehand and during stay to say that they were there if we needed anything. The VRBO is right by a lake with a walking trail, which was wonderful since we had our two dogs with us and love to be outdoors/go for walks. The fenced in yard was also very convenient, and they had the scooper to clean up the dog poop. They had a basket of some snacks and some bottled waters in the fridge, which was very thoughtful, a hair drier & shampoo & conditioner in case you needed it. The kitchen was stocked to be able to cook our meals (also a full rack of seasonings) & a coffee/tea. Just thoughtful little things that made life easier. Instructions for check in and out were clear & simple to accomplish. Beds were decent and they provided all linens & towels. It was a very pleasant stay and my sister, BIL, the 2 kids, & myself truly appreciate the kindness & thoughtfulness of the host. Wonderful stay.
