About this apartment rental
This charming 1800’s Victorian duplex used to be our worst place. That is, until it underwent an extensive renovation that was completed in summer of 2023. It retains its historic charm with original wooden doors, a bedroom fireplace (now decorative only), and its location on a quiet cobblestone street. However, it was thoughtfully modernized with new plumbing, electric, flooring, appliances, and light fixtures and is decorated in a timeless style with a nod to its heritage but in no way retro. This downstairs 2 bedroom 2 bath duplex has lots of historic charm. You enter the duplex from the back of the house into the cozy living room that has comfortable seating and a large smart TV. The primary suite has a queen bed with hybrid mattress, TV, decorative original fireplace, and spacious private bathroom with a tile shower. The bright and airy second bedroom is in the front of the house and has a queen bed with hybrid mattress and TV. The second bathroom is located under the staircase but is surprisingly roomy and has a tiled shower.
The large eat-in kitchen with seating for 4 is outfitted with all new appliances, including a gas stove, dish washer, and washer/dryer laundry center. It includes cookware, dishes, and kitchen basics and includes a coffee bar, bottled water, and some snacks.
The back porch has 4 rocking chairs and overlooks the backyard garden and is a perfect place to relax.
This duplex is just a stone’s throw to downtown Wilmington, so you can walk to downtown and enjoy the historic north end of downtown. Off street parking is included (small and mid sized cars only as the driveway is narrow) and there is always plenty of street parking for larger vehicles, vehicles pulling a trailer, or additional vehicles. Located a short pleasant walk to the riverwalk, restaurants, breweries, museums, entertainment, and more. Just a 30 minute drive to the beaches.
Checkout: Checkout is 11am, but we can offer late checkout as availability allows. 12pm checkout is $20, and 1pm checkout is $30. Please contact us first and if we can accommodate your late checkout, we will be happy to.

Everything was great. Beautiful, clean property and the host was very responsive when we got in touch. Walking distance to Riverwalk, food and entertainment. Honestly can't think of any downside to this place.

The apartment has an ant problem in the kitchen that needs to be addressed. Otherwise, we enjoyed it - very clean and comfortable. Overall, the neighborhood was good and we walked downtown from the apartment. The bed was comfortable and everything worked well. But if there are light sleepers in your party, you can hear the people upstairs talking and walking above you.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and the place is super cute. We were able to walk to lots of places. The parking in the back was very convenient as well.
