This modern spacious 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment is located only one block away from the famous Sagrada Familia.
Located in one of the most popular areas of Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia district is a clean, safe, and friendly neighbourhood that offers visitors authentic Barcelona city life.

The apartment measures 85m2 (914 ft2) and was completely refurbished in 2014.
The flat now consists of a living/dining room with an open plan kitchen which provides everything you need; oven, microwave, fridge-freezer combo, dishwasher, washing machine, blender, coffee machine plus a variety of pots & pans, plates, and cutlery.
The apartment has both central heating AND air conditioning throughout ALL the rooms.
There is fast WiFi (250 Mbps) for free and both the living room and the en-suite bedroom has a TV with a Chromecast which allows you to stream your favorite shows from your phone.
Down the hall, you will find the first bathroom, which has a bathtub, a shower, heated towel racks, a toilet, and a sink.
The first bedroom at the end of the hall is very spacious. It has a king-sized bed, two bedside tables with individual lights, a sofa couch and a large cupboard to store all your clothes and suitcases. The bedroom is equipped with automatic blinds which ensure total darkness and a good night's rest.
In this bedroom, you will also find a hairdryer, iron, ironing board a clothes horse, and all the fresh clean towels and bed linen.
The second bedroom is the en-suite. The bedroom is bright and spacious with large bay windows overlooking the Sagrada Familia. A king-sized bed, two bedside tables with individual night lights, a wardrobe, a 32-inch TV with Chromecast, and access to the office space which consists of an office chair, a desk, and a monitor to let you work.
The en-suite bathroom has a mixer shower, heated towel racks, a toilet, and a sink. This bedroom also has automatic blinds to block out the light and overlooks a playground which is shut off to the public at night.
This apartment was previously rented out as a short-term let and is always in very high demand because of the location and the quality of the flat itself.

*** To comply with the local rules we will charge a lodger tax/tourist tax as set by the Barcelona City Council. The rate for 2026 (as per April 1st) is 9.50 per person per night with a maximum of 7 nights. People under the age of 17 are exempt . The tax should be paid in cash upon arrival***
*** Late Check-in fee - If you arrive between 10 PM - 12 PM we charge a 20 euro fee which should be paid in cash upon arrival. If you arrive after midnight, the fee will be 50 euros.

This apartment was perfect for 2 older adults wanting to experience Barcelona for 2 weeks at a relaxed pace. Our adult son joined us for a werk. The elevator, nearby grocery stores (4 in 2 blocks), close metro/tram/bus stops, & support from owner Marcel resulted in a trip we will never forget. We are Sagrada Familia fans which is only 2 blocks away. Could also see it from the master bedroom window. While there are many tourists, restaurants and shops by the church, the street in front of the VRBO is a fairly quiet neighborhood which is exactly what we wanted. Favorite moments:- going to a fabulous affordable Tapas restaurant Marcel recommended.- cooking meals after shopping at a market 5 blocks away. Think 25 vendors with fresh seafood, vegetables and baked goods.- quiet early morning & late evening walks around the Bascilica. FYI, traveled light with one small suitcase each since we had a washing machine availabe. One problem - figuring out how to return for another trip.

Great location near the Sagrada Família with lots of restaurants and food in reasonable walking distance. We enjoyed the Eixample area where this is located, much better than the La Rambla and Barric Gothic. Marcel was also a very nice host and has a nice apartment to stay in.

This was a great home away from home for our two weeks to visit family. Well-located, quiet at night, and lots of coffee shops, groceries, and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed being near the Sagrada Familia (a great orientation for finding our way home) and yet within a short time to visit all other points of the city by public transport and on foot. Thanks to Marcel and Julie for being excellent hosts.
