About this house rental
Gascon restored farmhouse situated in the hills near a grove gerçoises composed of ancient oaks. The vegetation around the house is Mediterranean
The house includes a kitchen, a living room, two toilets, two bathrooms en suite with two bedrooms. The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, TV etc ...
Outside, there are two terraces overlooking a vegetable garden which is covered. Possibility to use the outdoor barbecue.
The temperature inside the house is ideal in summer because the walls are stone.
The activities are many and varied. A leisure center for swimming is located 6 km from the house, many marked hiking trails earth can be borrowed.
In July, the festival Tempo Latino in Vic Fezensac, in August Jazz in Marciac and the many village festivals will satisfy tourists.
One can also visit the many villages (castelnaus or houses) where gastronomy is always waiting for you.

We are already talking about going back! Peaceful, charming towns, great markets, beautiful view, fruit trees, wonderful owners. Always shop local first! But Should neighborhood store be closed Aldi is not to far.away. Great place to unwind and recharge. Cows are just down the road, they made me so happy. Car required.

We had a lovely cosy stay at Faget Abbatial, From the warm welcome to the lovely and warm heating which was needed as we arrived in late October just as a cold spell started.
The house had everything that we needed to make our stay restful peaceful and comfortable. Full kitchen diner, two bedrooms and bathrooms (en suite). Lounge with large screen TV. Great WiFi. Lots of room outside and private off road car parking. The house was a great place to stay as a base to visit the many small villages and towns that are nearby and also the larger towns such as Toulouse, Lourdes, or the Pyrenees. I would recommend having a car though.
I would love to stay again sometime in the future.

We enjoyed hot, sunny, cloudless days and made good use of the shady parts of the garden which affords total privacy and looks out over a reservoir. The property is fairly remote, with no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance so a car is essential. Accommodation is not as spacious as it seems on the website but it was fine for two of us and there is obviously work still going on to renovate other parts of the building. Decor is stylish and the kitchen is well-equipped.

This house is a litte treasure and a paradise for all those who want to relax and get a real break from their bustling daily lives.
Moreover Philippe and his sister are good-natured and warm-hearted people and perfect hosts. When he heard that we had to rely on our radio to follow one of the German World-Cup matches he quickly extended his beinsports contract, so that we could watch it! (Well they lost, but never mind...)
We long to come back to this peace of paradise!
