The property is very nice with a spectacular view off the balcony. That is the property’s best feature. The apartment was clean and met our needs. Also, it was not especially well stocked with necessary items like a working hair dryer and information on appliances. The biggest problem was being told by the property manager that the apartment was 3 km from the train station. If we had a car the location would not have been a problem. However, we are traveling Switzerland by train. As a result, we had 72CH cab ride. Upon arrival, we easily gained access to the apartment, but had NO instructions on WiFi or anything related to the house. The manager did respond and provided us with instructions, but our first few hours were very frustrating. If you are traveling by car or don’t mind over 100CH round trip cab ride to town, I highly recommend the property. However, the manager could provide written instructions to assist with your use of the apartment and a more accurate description of its location. Otherwise, nothing but good things to say.

The apartment was clean and spacious, and accommodated our group of five comfortably. We loved the big balcony, and enjoyed watching the sunset over Lake Lugano each night. The kitchen was well-equipped, even with a fondue pot and raclette maker!
We appreciated the email you sent prior to our visit with directions to the apartment and recommendations on places to visit. We took your advice and visited the castles in Bellinzona, took the funicular to the top of San Salvatore, took a boat to Gandria and walked back along the Olive Trail, and enjoyed gelato in the picturesque village of Morcote.
The only problem -- we weren't sure where to put our trash and recycling. Perhaps more explicit instructions for future guests would be helpful.

This two BR apartment is superbly located on the slope of Mount Bre in the Lugano suburb of Aldesago. The apartment is well furnished, vey clean, and with ample kitchen equipment. The closest restaurant is at the Colibry Hotel, about 2 km down the road.
