About this cabin rental
Conveniently located right off Hwy 8, this charming cabin offers views of a private creek just yards from the front deck, beyond the creek flows the Caddo River, a floaters destination in itself. There is a BBQ charcoal grill located on the deck, porch swing with unobstructed views of the creek, and plenty of outdoor spaces to just hang out. 15 miles to Scenic Albert Pike and ATV trails and Crystal mines, 25 miles to the Diamond mine, we are located within 25 minutes of either Lake Greeson or Ouachita, and 45 minutes to Historic Hot Springs, Oaklawn Casino, and Magic Springs Amusement and Water Park. This cabin was perfect for our family 4th of July getaway. The location on the river made my kiddos so happy. They would have stayed in the river forever if we let them. The owners are very nice and responsive. The only down side was the lavender scent when we first arrived since i am allergic but the owners did not know about my allergies. So it just taught me to inform places prior to my stay from now on.So if you are looking for a place to escape city life and just relax this cabin is perfect.

This was the best property we have ever stayed at in Glenwood/Caddo Gap. The location was perfect, the property was absolutely stunning. We will definitely be back to Pappys Cabin. Thank y’all so much for the hospitality!

Quiet, clean, overall amazing. Close enough to the river to see and talk to the kids from the porch, but off the main river side so no one was around.

When we booked it we didn’t realize it was so close to the road. I also didn’t realize it was gonna be under construction with stuff stored on the porch. There was cobwebs on the light fixture and dust all over everything. There was also big black ants all in the bathroom. But overall we were pleased with the cabin.
