For more adventure, take a drive to Mount Mitchell, the highest mountain east of the Mississippi. Grandfather Mountain, Linville Gorge or, perhaps, Sliding Rock and Wolf Ridge Ski and Tubing Resort..
Visit the eclectic city of Asheville with all of its amazing restaurants and shops. Take the city tour or head over to The Biltmore all within a 40 minute drive.

The pictures do not do it justice and the community was wonderful. Could not have asked for a better layout and view of the mountains.
The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment and we cooked at home most nights.
The host was so good at communication. We had a small issue with AC and our host alerted us before we even knew. Had it fixed in no time.
I recommend highly.
