Welcome to the Redstone Mansion, our luxury retreat and wedding venue - hosting couples, families, and special events. With an expansive deck, modern aesthetics, 22' ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling glass, you'll be enchanted by the surrounding beauty. Three spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms ensure privacy, while the curated mix of high-end antiques and modern pieces exudes sophistication. Relax in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit, and explore nearby trails, shops, and restaurants.

Redstone is nothing short of a masterpiece, blending French and Italian classicism with luxury mountain living.
Doric columns and stately double entry doors, composed of hand foraged iron filigree over glass grace the front entry way—guiding you to the beauty within.
The interior is designed with classic furnishings from the owners private collection of fine antiques. And best of all, the views! 22ft ceilings and walls of glass on all sides take your breath away as you enjoy panoramic views of the National Forest from all sides.

- Lofted library which overlooks kitchen and living area below.
- Master bedroom has floor to ceiling windows of the North Carolina Mountains. Not to mention the glorious master suite bathroom featuring a luxurious jetted tub w/views!
- Private Master Bedroom Balcony to enjoy your morning coffee
- The bathrooms offer luxurious toiletries, new bath towels and robes.
- Grounds featuring a water fall which flows into a nearby pond.
- Massive wrap-around viewing deck with outdoor seating

Guest access
The entire main house, gardens, and grounds. Please note, unless you also book the Redstone Cottage, please avoid the ground s around the cottage as other guests may be staying there. There is a significant distance between the two it will be obvious. It is highly recommended that your vehicle has all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive.
The house is right next to the National Forest. Less then 20 yards away from the house is an entrance to the forest. There are potential sightings for wild life, bugs and high winds due to the altitude and location of the house.
Other things to note
If you do decide to stay at our lovely home, we do charge the following fees separately after you book:
1) Refundable Security Deposit - $500. We recommend paying this with a credit card since it will only be a hold placed on your card during your reservation. If you pay with a debit card or direct ACH transfer, the money will be withdrawn from your account 3 days before check-in and refunded 3 days afterwards upon successful inspection of the premises.
2) Dogs - $100/dog per reservation. We allow up to three dogs per reservation to be paid after booking. Please note this is not reflected in your reservation price and is an additional charge.
3) 3) Grill- please clean the grill and the grease trap after you use. There will be a $25 fee if not cleaned before leaving. This will help keep bears and wildlife from visiting you and to help ensure the safety of our guests..
4)This property is located 1 mile off the main road. It is a very well-maintained gravel road. However, due to the extreme weather we often experience in the mountains, we recommend all guests come with all-wheel/4 wheel drive vehicles. There is plenty of parking for several vehicles.

This house is amazing. That would be enough on its own but the view is unrivaled and cannot be put into words. Highly recommend this place. And to top it off the hosts couldn’t be any better. They are extremely professional and courteous. They thought of everything and even more. I can’t say enough good things about them.

This home is as beautiful as the pictures. It was an incredible backdrop for our small elopement. We were even able to bring our two small dogs. The host were excellent and even had a welcome basket for us congratulating us on our new chapter staying here for the week was like nothing we have ever experienced. The scenic views were incredible. We even had a few days of rain and we could see the waterfalls in the mountain and then a beautiful double rainbow. The kitchen is huge and allowed for several people to help prepare the meal without getting in the way. It was well stocked with plenty of supplies to cook with. Overall 10 out of 10 and we hope to be able to visit again in the future!

You cannot beat the views. If you are looking for a place to relax and get away, this is a lovely home to do so. We had an unexpected delay with our check in date because the water pump went out. But, the owners were kind and flexible. They were will to provide some options that allowed us to still get into the house as soon as the maintenance work was done. And, they stayed in close contact giving us updates along the way, as well as texted to ensure we arrived and were settled in. They left us a wonderful gift basket of snacks, cocoa mugs, champagne and special little spa treats.
The kitchen was fully stocked for making any kind of meal you could want. The private mountain views from every room were amazing!!
Three things to be aware of to ensure the property is right for you:
> The home has a number of beautiful and unique pieces of art as well as concrete floors that probably aren't the best fit for small children.
> There are a few steps down to get access to the front door and the master bedroom is upstairs.
> You'll have to drive 1.5 miles up a steep windy gravel road to reach the property. They do warn you that 4-wheel or all wheel drive is recommended, but that is no joke.
My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay in this unique and beautiful home and would consider staying again if we are ever in the area. If you are looking for a place to retreat that has it all, yet is close to many area adventures, this is a wonderful choice!

This is an amazing house in a fabulous location, with a nice, charming host. However, the house needs refreshing. Also the air conditioning cannot stand up to the hot summer sun.
