About this house rental

This is a wonderful lakefront house on a nine acre non- motorboat lake nestled up against the Shawangunk Mountain range. This two-level house has a beautiful open layout, and tons of light in the spacious common areas. The living room is all windows, facing out to the lake. The huge primary bedroom has en suite bathroom and the main level has two additional bedrooms, one of which has a full/twin bunk bed, the other has a lovely antique full bed. There's a deck, a patio and a private dock for fishing, swimming or boating—the house has three kayaks for guest use! The open kitchen is great for cooking and entertaining.

I am not a give 5-stars person. This was 5-stars because of the lake. Right outside, a beautiful lake. The house is nice, clean, everything was fine that way, but that lake, right there. We sat on the deck for breakfast and dinner and stared at the lake. It was heavenly.

The kitchen was well stocked to service our family and friends. We were able to host a couple dinners while we were out and everyone was comfortable. The wifi was fast and reliable. The setting on the lake was peaceful and relaxing. We got to have a beautiful mist in the morning and Canadian geese in the evening. We loved the outdoor seating area downstairs and enjoyed sitting on the dock. The patio was an added bonus! Everyone that came to visit commented on how nice of a rental it was for the area. We definitely got our moneys worth staying there. It is added as one of our favorites for the area. I would let family's know that the stairs and banister are not toddler or senior friendly but they are very aesthetic. That was not an issue with our group but it might be worth mentioning.
