About this house rental
This spacious brand house, features seven bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, two master suites, and sits on a one-acre lot. Located 7-10 minutes from the Old Mill District, the city center, parks, cultural attractions, restaurants, and shopping, and 20 to 30 minutes from Mt. Bachelor and Cascade Lakes, this beautiful house offers ample opportunities for fun. Guests will appreciate the roomy interiors, comfortable beds, and excellent kitchen and family room, making it ideal for large groups.
The seventh bedroom, converted from a living room, provides visual privacy with curtains but lacks doors. A quarter-mile gravel road leads to the house. This is the host's third vacation property. Though brand new, the house offers numerous amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and dining; guests only need to bring food and clothes. Ample games for both children and adults are available in the house and garage. If any items are missing upon arrival, the host will provide them within an hour, barring local store shortages.
A CCTV camera is installed on the window counter by the front door, facing outside to monitor the property when vacant. This camera is usually removed before guest check-in. If it remains, guests can unplug it to turn it off. For any questions, please contact the host, David.

--great house for our debate team to stay at.
--the owner was very communicative and was also very reasonable and accommodating.
--the house is big--the pictures shown gave me an accurate view of the place.
--really nice back yard with lots of seating, a hot tub, ping pong table, grill, it was great.
--super well located to high desert museum, bend, the volcano monument, etc.
two things:
1. the 7th bedroom is curtain separated rather than with an actual wall and door (it worked for us but just saying).
2. the living room area especially could use a bit more of an aesthetic--more pictures on the wall (move the rules postings).
that said--this was a GREAT place to stay. enjoyed our time. was very pleased with the place. owner is nice and very responsive. i'd stay here or at one of their other locations if/when i go back to bend.

Host was communicative, lots of bedrooms and space for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked, rooms were comfortable. Had everything we needed.

4.5 starsPositives: 1. HIGH VALUE. The house was massive and easily slept our 13 people. It was clean and ready for us. The beds were very comfortable, especially in the downstairs Master Suite. Also there are multiple cribs and a bassinet so it'll accommodate young families easily. 2. The kitchen was very well stocked, including a coffee grinder, which is honestly a huge plus. 3. It was only about 15 minutes to get into downtown Bend, about 45 minutes to West Village Lodge (we actually went through Sunriver to get to the mountain to avoid morning traffic).4. The hot tub was a bit murky and we found a lemon in it, but the owner was extremely responsive and sent someone out right away to clean and treat it. The Negatives: 1. The Signs. Signs EVERYWHERE on everything. It was unnecessary. We do not need multiple signs instructing us on how to strategize our showers to optimize water heated usage. Or signs on the second story window saying it's dangerous to play near. A suggestion to the host: please just use a few key signs like "No shoes in the house" at the entrances and put the rest in a House Guide in a binder on the console table in the formal dining room. Put your check-in and check-out instructions in there as well. It's much less hostile. 2. Builder fault, not owner, but something to consider: The drain pipe drains right into the main walkway to the front door and turns it into an ice rink. It was very slick. 3. No lighting around the hot tub.
