About this house rental

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events likely to create excessive noise which might impact neighbours. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory. The home is set up particularly with families in mind.

Property Description

"The Resort at 222" is an amazing, centrally located home in Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Upstairs is the living area (with smart TV and brand new couches) provides access to the large 2nd floor deck. The Master bedroom (with TV) has a WIR and ensuite (with shower and toilet), while the other two bedrooms on this level share the main bathroom (featuring a spa-bath with shower over, and toilet).

Downstairs, is the open plan living/dining (with smart TV) and kitchen area and access to the two outdoor entertaining areas. Bedroom 2 has a TV and BIR, and shares a large main bathroom (with a shower, toilet and laundry facilities) with Bedroom 3 (also with BIR).

Outdoor Areas

The centrepiece of this amazing home is the outdoor, undercover 8 seater spa and gas BBQ on the back deck. The back deck also has both undercover and outdoor seating, for up to 12. Opening off this area is a large fully enclosed backyard. The Alfresco area at the front with servery windows from the kitchen provides another option for entertaining. The front yard also has a long side driveway with space for 3 cars or cars and a boat. At the front, the off main road laneway also offers further ample street parking. There is a double garage with a table tennis table and 5 in 1 multi game table (therefore not available for guest parking). The upstairs deck provides a lovely sheltered place for enjoying the peaceful ambience.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with standard cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, coffee machine (Nespresso Vertuo), toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, corner pantry, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There are three wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioners (one in each living area, plus one in main upstairs bedroom), two ceiling fans in the upstairs living area and there are 5 mobile oil heaters and pedestal fans to be used in the bedrooms or as required.

Bedroom Configuration:

This home has 9 beds, plus one ottoman style bed, accommodating up to 12 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One Double bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One set of King Single bunks plus one King Single bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Queen bed plus one ottoman style Single bed
Bedroom 4 (Upstairs): One set of King Single bunks plus one Single bed
Bedroom 5 (Upstairs): One Double bed

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, * check in times * are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional * linen hire * over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Welcoming, bright home with plenty of amenties, including a kitchen with a good range of cooking equipment, games shed out the back, and plenty of communal spaces capable of seating large groups comfortably. Hot tub was a treat.

Stayed here with my family and everything was amazing. It was super close to everything you could need. Everything in the house was well thought out and it felt super spacious. Everyone kept commenting on what an amazing find it was. Would definitely pick as my number 1 spot to book again!
