Villa Iris - A chic villa in the mountains. Located in lush vegetation this villa with a private pool and superb sea views can accommodate six (6) guests & 2 kids on the loft space.
Villa Iris comfortable and chic, named after Iris, the personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods in Greek mythology, has been handcrafted and decorated to provide comfort and privacy with a more rustic and chic feel. On the ground floor the living room has a large comfortable sofa, a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen for both formal and casual meals. Also on this level there is a large bedroom with two single beds that can turn into a double bed that has direct access to the terrace and a bathroom for its use. On the upper floor the spacious master bedroom is located with a private terrace offering great panorama views towards the sea and the village. This bedroom features an ensuite wash basin and large wardrobes and a desk-like private space for reading, working or just keeping personal belongings. The third is a double bedroom that also has a loft space with pillows and mattresses suitable to sleep an additional two more children, if needed. The two rooms share a bathroom on this level with high quality fittings.
The external space of Villa Iris is unfolding into three distinct verandas, with the lower one integrating the private pool and deck area. The view towards the sea from the verandas is unique and unforgettable, while the vegetation and fencing provide privacy and security. The external dining area has a large built-in sofa with comfortable pillows and a large slate table under a redbud tree for endless summer conversations while drinking a glass of cool wine. At the back of the house there is an external kitchen area with built in BBQ space and large working bench, ideal for making those lovely dinners for you and your family or friends.

Staying at Iris was the highlight of our trip in Pelion. The villa is perfect. The views are breathtaking, the villa is warm and cozy yet features everything one can imagine at modern and mint condition. It is clean, the rooms are comfortable. The living room is a a joy--with nice sofas, dining table, and a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped. And, the porch and pool added so much fun for adults and kids. Everything we wanted was there. Stathis thought about everything. Even left us some fresh food to start our stay, maps of the area and information about activities you can do--all up to date and well thought of.
Now the area. It is the outside of Agios Georgios. Not at the center of the village. A walking distance. You gain quiet and views, with no real payoff.
From Agios Georgios you can drive to every place in Pelion. You can drive to beautiful beaches of Kala Nera or Afisos (perfect!), to the easter side of Pelion, or you can do your shopping at Vollos.
We fell in love with the place!
Will be back for sure.

Villa Iris is anything you imagine, and then some. The location is superb, about 20-25 minutes from Volos, and about 45-60 min from the popular Aegean beaches, the house is spacious and has many spaces for relaxation, reading, or communal meals. the house itself is brand new and is extremely well designed. it is fully furnished with anything you might need including high-end kitchen equipment and appliances, beach towels, umbrellas and chairs, a BBQ, and anything else small or big you might need to make your vacation the best there is. Stathis and Lina were communicative, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make our vacation spectacular. they hosted us like we're family, and it felt that way. It was truly a remarkable experience. Don't forget to order the dine-in breakfast with fantastic local produce, and check up on their recommended app, which even has a link to a webcam so you can see the wave conditions in real-time and pick your favorite beach. Pelion homes is highly recommended. we will be back soon.

The villa is realy very nice! very clean, nice decorated. Little mountain villages to visit nearby. Nice walks directly from the house and 20 min drive to the beaches.

Villa Iris is a wonderful house, decorated with excellent taste and with all the necessary details to make the stay very comfortable.
The garden and the pool are very well kept. Our experience eating and dining on the porch, enjoying the beautiful views over the Pagasetic Gulf is one of the best memories.
Many excursions and places to visit from there
The owner, Sthatis and his assistant, Lina are very friendly and helpful people.
100% recomended. We will return when we return to the Pelion.
