Lake Cottage

The location is wonderful because of being right on the lake and having such a nice sandy area. The fact that kayaks, a paddle board, a canoe, etc are provided is great! Some of the dishes in the cupboard/utensil drawer were not clean and one of the couches in the living room was not very comfortable. The mattress in the primary bedroom was not comfortable to sleep on. Bugs get in the game room easily thru the window we think (have to leave light off) Certain small things made it feel definitely more like a "cottage" than a lake house. We stay at a different rental every summer and most of them provide small amenities such as shampoo and conditioner, soap, extra toilet paper, beach towels (didn't see them) etc. Nothing like that here, so don't forget anything. Lol I had to put some of my own new batteries in the flameless candles in the primary bedroom to get them to work. Nice that they're provided but, none of them worked. Just little things like that. Overall, I think it's a great place to stay if you have young children because of it being right on the lake with a sandy area. Lots of sand toys and beach chairs provided in the garage. I thought that was a nice touch. I think some small improvements would go a long long way here and nothing was bad enough that I wouldn't stay there again. It's just that, for the cost, I would hope maybe some of the things mentioned would be considered.

Great value. Loved private beach. Lots of water equipment. Also games for indoors.

Great property for exactly what our family needed as we visited the area!

Clean and beautiful house!
