During the summer you can visit Löttorps Camping's medieval restaurant Stekhuset Munken and its own store in the area. A little further south you will also find sights such as Solliden Castle and Borgholm Castle. Golf courses are located in the north of Öland.
The cottage is a good starting point for excursions in the area.
