About this house rental
Welcome to Banana Sweet in beautiful Coral Bay with its laid-back shops, restaurants and music scene. This is a spacious, open floor plan apartment for 4. We added a hot tub and we are positioned with views overlooking the Carolina Valley and Hurricane Hole. You can’t beat the location which is a short 5 minute drive to Coral Bay and 10-15 minutes to the beautiful North Shore beaches. We offer a very comfortable property at a reasonable price. The bedrooms are accessed from inside the house, so no need to go outside to get to a bedroom.
This house is on the upper level, which is also ground level, and includes a living/dining/ kitchen space as well as 2 good sized bedrooms. There is a large outdoor deck as well for dining and enjoying the view both day and night.
There is a lower level apartment with a private entrance that could also be available depending on your needs. Be prepared for a short drive up our hill some of the road is gravel and some is cement. 4WD is not required but good ground clearance can be helpful.

We loved the house! The road getting there was horrendous. We had ordered a Jeep from the rental company but they gave us a much bigger vehicle. By the end of the week we had gotten pretty good at navigating the washed out sections. We are not nightlife people so we loved being in Coral Bay and being closer to our favorite beaches.

Banana Sweet has everything you need for a great stay. It’s spacious, the view is fabulous and the house is fully outfitted. We enjoyed the hot tub! The drive up is rough and a little challenging but not unusual in Coral Bay.

really lovely place, and it is well all the things you’ll need. this is off the beaten path in the very best way and the support for getting there and communication overall, was terrific.thank you SO much.

The house was very nice, had most everything needed except the coffee pot did not work, so we just used the French press. Unfortunately we did not check and were unaware that only bedrooms had air conditioning!! During the day the common areas of the house were so hot one could not remain in house much less cook anything! Also, down the hill from the house is garbage dump which smelled horribly and even at times could be smelled at top of hill where house is located! As for the road up the hill to the house, it is terrible and not much more than a horse trail with very large rocks and deep trenches! Don’t even try the road if not in a jeep! And pray you don’t meet another vehicle coming the other direction! If the house were in a different location and had A/C in common areas I would definately stay again. However, with the issues I have mentioned I would not stay again!
