Conner Homestead Cabin is a very short and easy drive from 33. In particular, the cabin is no more than 5 minutes from the SR 595 exit on US 33. This is 10 minutes of easy driving to downtown Logan or Nelsonville, or 30 minutes of easy driving to uptown Athens/Ohio University.
Other things to note:
-Signed rental agreement and security deposit required. Note age requirement, capacity limit, refund/cancel policy, etc. in rental agreement.
-We do own one other cabin on the same 10 acre lot. It is about 500 feet away from this cabin and only barely viewable through the trees during the winter months.
-All linens are provided
-Both bathing and hot tub towels are provided
-Gas grill is provided
-Cabin is air conditioned during the warmer months
-Firewood bundles are available for purchase on-site

This is the sweetest little cabin! It was perfect for our weekend away. It was close enough to allow us to go to all of the nearby hiking trails, but far enough away that we were secluded and peaceful. The deck was our favorite - we relaxed in the evening sun while grilling, and enjoyed the hot tub at every opportunity. Rick is an amazing host and checked in with us throughout our stay, but wasn’t overbearing. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Can’t wait to return!

Very cozy cabin near everything. The cabin was super clean and Rick, the host, was very helpful and great with communication. The cabin was well equipped for eating in if you wanted or close to local restaurants. Many hiking trails all within a 30 minute drive. We would definitely come back to this cabin.

The cottage was very cozy and exactly what we hoped for for our first getaway. The bed was freshly made with plenty of pillows and blankets, and the bathroom was perfectly clean. The hot tub was very comfy too, we went in every night and there was a fireplace that looked like it would be good in the winter. The wifi was super reliable too, so it was easy to check online for directions or email.The property was nice and had a good view of the woods, and was within driving distance of all of hawking hills best locations. It was less than thirty minutes from places like Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, and Cedar Falls.Rick was also a great host, he was readily available whenever we had questions, and checked in on us to make sure we were having a good stay. He even texted to make sure we were finding everything ok while he was out at a charity event. We would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing trip out of town.
