This is a charming house by an old mill beside the river. The spacious property is beautifully furnished with a cosy feel. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace listening to the bird song and the sound of the river. The countryside nearby is very pretty, and it is only a short drive to the Cote de Granit Rose. The owners were very welcoming..

Loved this property and the surrounding area. If you're looking for somewhere that offers peace, quiet and nature in abundance, then this is the place. Our family loved the stay here - plenty of space for the kids to explore and roam free, while also being located centrally in Brittany to reach a host of great places. We'll definitely be returning!

The cottage was just as described with four comfortable bedrooms and a generous living area and kitchen. We did a bit of cooking at the cottage and the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. There are two supermarkets (Intermarche) nearby in Begard and just south of Lannion which are good to drop in to on the way back from the coast. We recommend the market in Lannion on Thursday mornings and a trip to the Iles of Brehat is a must. We also enjoyed local walks along the river and a bit of fishing. The French fish showed impeccable taste and ignored us! We loved our tour of the mill. Life for the three brothers must have been incredibly hard and it is wonderful that the same family still owns the mill and are giving it love and maintaining memories. We recommend the cottage to all and thank the family for being so welcoming and sharing their history.

The cottage is very comfortable and surrounded by gorgeous countryside. The weather was extremely hot for our visit but the cottage remained delightfully cool. We found two excellent seafood restaurants on the coast and ate in twice using the barbecue provided. The check in and check out were both accomplished easily and we made use of the boat on the river on one occasion although the river was very low making progress a little difficult! We will definitely return.

The house had been fairly recently renovated (according to one of the owners), however it lacked a few extra touches, e.g. Somewhere to hang wet towels after showering, pillows not cushions on the bed, information re., nearest doctor, vet. Information on rubbish removal and recycling. There was no wi-fi at all and sometimes poor phone signal. Dogs were accepted but there was no safe area for them to exercise. Some areas were unsafe for very young children. Our week at the property was marred by the visit of mice who left their droppings on the sofa and clothes in the bedrooms, there was also evidence of them in the kitchen. Their presence was reported to the owner. There are lovely walks from the property and plenty of places to explore in the surrounding countryside and coast, lots of good restaurants. We experienced some confusion with actual costs, dealing with two different family members at different times, this was resolved at the end of our stay.

Our stay at le Pont Neuf in le Vieux Marché was very pleasant. The house was spacious, comfortable and well equiped. The owners of the house were very kind. The surroundings are beautiful and perfect for day trips.

This holiday home was immaculate, tastefully decorated (especially the bedrooms), and very well stocked. It's the perfect place to go for peace and quiet and to "get away from it all". There are some very nice walks starting at the front door of the gite. We also found it a handy location for hopping in the car and seeing other things in the area. The owners were very warm, friendly and happy to help.
