We returned to Camping Kerlaudy Mer et Yourtes for our second stay after visiting in April 2025 and loving it so much. This time we brought Daddy, who couldn’t come last time, and Granny, who was enjoying her first holiday abroad in years.
We stayed in a beautiful Mongolian yurt, which was perfect for our needs—cosy, spotless, and beautifully decorated. The opening roof is such a special feature! With six of us, it was a little bit cramped, but still very comfortable. The beds were great, and with our own sleeping bags, we were warm and snug at night. The little kitchen setup with a two-ring hob, a microwave, and a fridge was convenient for preparing simple meals alongside fresh salads.
The campsite itself has a lovely, friendly atmosphere. The children especially enjoyed the park, and all the facilities—including showers and toilets—were spotless. We didn’t try the breakfast basket because of allergies, but the one delivered to the yurt opposite looked delicious.
The owners were wonderfully welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Vanessa’s English is amazing—especially as we feel guilty for knowing so little French. (I find languages tricky to learn as an adult, especially since I sometimes muddle French with Spanish from our other holidays!)
The location is ideal, with so much to see and do in the surrounding area, and Roscoff is very close by, which makes the ferry home easy.
We can’t wait to come back again—though next time without Granny, as we won’t have room for her in the car and she’s too nervous to drive herself. But we’ll definitely be booking another stay soon!

Spotlessly clean showers and toilets
Great location for cycling and close to Roscoff ferry terminal
Friendly owners and comfortable and unique yurts
Crossing the road from the campsite to the cycle path is quite busy.

Brilliant place to stay - the kids absolutely loved the yurt and the play area with trampoline
A savoury option for breakfast would have been more to our taste . But that being said the Yurt had all the equipment to make any breakfast you should wish, we just came unprepared as were only staying one night.

We had a truly magical stay at Kerlaudy Mer et Yourtes! I visited with my children, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like a little adventure. The yurt was cosy, beautifully set up, and surprisingly spacious — perfect for a family. The setting is peaceful and close to nature, which makes it such a relaxing escape. The kids loved the outdoor space, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the stay extra comfortable. It was a unique experience we’ll all remember fondly. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something a little different! The location was excellent just a short distance from beautiful beaches and very convenient for catching the ferry home. The beds were very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The host was very friendly and helpful with brilliant English.

close to ferry
The owner is a psychopath. They clearly have no experience in customer service. The yurts are a reasonable walk from the car park so you need to haul all your gear from the car park to the Yurt. They have a rule for no cars on the campsite when there is clearly a well designed road for cars. On checking out we quitetly moved the car near to the yurt as it was raining and did not want the bags to get wet. As we were leaving the owner came up to me and and physically attacked me for packing my car so I had to call the police to intervene. Wow! Do NOT stay here under any circumstances. These people are nuts!

Staying in a yurt was a different experience for us, one that didn’t disappoint. The yurt had been well maintained; the colourful Mongolian-like furniture added a lot of character to the interior, and the touristic leaflets and guides left to guests proved very useful. The owners were very welcoming and remained very helpful during our entire stay.

Camping molto pulito e ordinato.
