Set in the pretty village of Marbury, and with great walking nearby, this cottage is great for a couple exploring the Shropshire/Cheshire border.. 2 steps to entrance.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Garden Retreat. Everything was as described and the cottage was warm, cosy and completely met all our needs. The host Hannah was friendly and helpful. She kindly provided a lemon drizzle cake on arrival and even dried my wet boots on her aga after a muddy walk! Nothing was too much trouble. The village of Marbury was very attractive and there was a great and very local pub, The Swan just opposite the cottage. There was plenty to do and see in the local area as well as walks from the property. A perfect country escape!

Excellent new property. Very nice welcome from Hannah the owner who showed us around the property. Ground floor modern well lit kitchen. With all mod cons. First floor lounge and dining room. Nicely furnished contemporary and rustic. Nice view looking out to fields. Upstairs very large king bed really comfy. Modern bathroom large shower. Plus separate stand alone bath. All very high standard A very quite chilling place to be if you just need a good rest. Good walks and a very nice trip to Chester made a very nice mini break
