About this house rental
Cavernous, sunny A-Frame home with 30 foot cathedral ceiling and a private, full bathroom in each of the three bedrooms!
Mature tree lined streets, great views of the Capitol, Monona Terrace & Madison's skyline just down the hill at Esther Beach Park.
**Due to insurance policy limitations, use of the indoor fireplace, outdoor firepit and grill are not permitted**
Each of the home's three bedrooms has its own private, full bathroom. There is also a charming half bathroom conveniently located just off the main level's great room.
Guests are encouraged to host their own happy hour by taking advantage of the spacious kitchen's lovely bar area. Whether it be to warm up, cool down, relax and unwind or prepare for a night on the town, we hope our guests won't hesitate to whip up and enjoy their favorite cocktails among friends and family.
The main level features include a cavernous, vaulted 30 foot ceiling, open floor plan, massive floor to ceiling, stone fireplace and grand spiral staircase which leads to the impressive 2nd floor suites.
From the second floor's guest suite, guests will discover a custom crafted ship's ladder which leads to a generous loft space. Situated at the home's peak between exposed structural beams, the loft overlooks the great room from above. The queen bed offers a wonderful opportunity to kick back and relax.
Nestled into a quaint little street leading to a quiet residential circle just one block from the south shoreline of Lake Monona, there is no through traffic.
Each bedroom has it's own ultra high-definition smart TV (Ranging from 42"-65") and entertainment system.
In addition, the home is "smart." More than 60 devices including climate control, ceiling fans and lighting are connected to the home's Wi-Fi network and voice controllable. Each room in the house is equipped with it's own Smart Assistant enabled device for efficient, simultaneous control of connected devices throughout the home.
Guests may park in the home's private driveway or on the street in front of the home. The home is situated in a mature, residential neighborhood at the top of a circle and, therefore, there is no through traffic.

Cool and unique home in beautiful neighborhood. Cozy bedrooms, beds and bedding very comfortable. Loved hanging out in living & dining areas. Everything needed to cook a dinner & brunch was there. Host super helpful! We were teens thru age 89 with 2 dogs and everyone enjoyed the stay.

We absolutely loved our stay in the A Frame. We were there for a horse show at the fair grounds. It had all the space we needed, the beds were good, bathrooms new and sparkling clean. The living room had super comfy chairs and television and Wifi worked without issues. The area was quiet, Off Broadway restaurant around the corner as well as Walmart and other shopping over the road. There is a bike path that goes around Lake Monoma at the bottom of the hill. The entire home was perfect for us, living on three levels, master downstairs, two in the middle, all with separate bathrooms, and a loft bedroom. We looked forward to coming back to the home at the end of the day. The kitchen was fully loaded with any cooking requirements and the bar area was perfect. You cannot miss staying at this property. It had everything and more you could need. The owners were super responsive and very helpful.

We absolutely LOVED this house. The view of the lake when you go for a walk in the neighborhood, the wild turkeys that live in the woods right by the house and walk down the road gobbling at each other, all of the birds that live in the trees around the house that you can watch while waking up in the morning and hear singing... This was just the most zen and mellow house I've ever stayed at. Everything is upgraded with smart home technology, the beds are incredibly comfortable with high quality bedding, and the couches are very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you could need, and the loft bedroom is perfect for older kids-- mine thought that was the coolest thing ever. The cleaners had missed something from the renters before us, but the owner was quick to make it right. There are little guides in each room for the smart home controls, and a very thorough book with everything you need to know about the house. We loved walking over to the Off Broadway Drafthouse right around the corner. It's a pretty walk that takes you around a park, and the food is DELICIOUS. The owner reached out several times as we were planning our trip and was quick to make recommendations for things in the area. This was just all in all a perfect VRBO experience, and this is without question the house we will rent in the future when we need to be in Madison again!
