About this cottage rental
Located in the picturesque village of Beddgelert in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, Rose Cottage is the ideal location to explore North Wales.
Beddgelert village is near many attractions and very close to the major routes up Snowdon. Being within a 15-minute drive to many beaches it provides access to the best of both the mountains and the coast. The village itself offers a variety of pubs, eateries, gift shops and a general store/post office. All major supplies can be sourced in the coastal town of Porthmadog approximately 9 miles away
Rose Cottage sits on the banks of the river Colwyn and due the proximity of the river we can only accommodate adult guests. The cottage retains many of its original features and old-world charm yet with all mod cons. The accommodation comprises of a comfortable lounge to help you relax after a busy day exploring, with Freeview TV and WIFI access. The cosy morning room with dining area and a good-sized kitchen that has a retro 1930’s style yet is fully equipped to cover all the requirements of a modern self-catering cottage.
There are two double bedrooms, one of which overlooks the river Colwyn and Moel Hebog. The bathroom has bath with shower, W.C and wash basin. Outside there is a small contained garden that directly overlooks the river Colwyn with views of Moel Hebog and the Welsh Highland railway station which is set above the village. We supply garden furniture and B.B.Q.
You will find lots of circular walks within a short distance of the cottage including access to the Beddgelert Forest trails
Whatever your activity preference Rose Cottage makes the perfect base.

Had a wonderful time visiting this location. In particular, the outlook was quite lovely and enjoyed each day. Would be very happy to stay again if in the area.

My friend, my small dog, and I had a lovely time at Rose Cottage. It was perfectly situated in the village, right in the heart of Snowdonia, with plenty of good pubs and village shops nearby. The house itself was comfortable, although we were a tad disappointed that the stoves were only electric. While we stayed warm enough in the two main rooms, the kitchen was freezing but sufficiently equipped, if a little worn in places! It was nice to have two double bedrooms with comfortable beds. The outside patio area is really pretty, looking straight out to the river. However, if you’re bringing dogs, there’s no way to stop them from going down to the river, which was running really quickly, and there's also nowhere for them to have a late-night wee!
