About this house rental
This amazing home is located right on the lake. You couldn't be closer to the water. There is ample space for your friends and family to comfortably enjoy all that Lake Coeur d'Alene has to offer. There is a private gas grill on the deck, so you can have al-fresco meals with a 180-degree panoramic lake view. At the end of your day, relax in the private hot tub and gaze up at the night sky.
As is somewhat typical on Couer d’Alene lake there are stairs (100 newly built grippy steel stairs) that lead from the parking area to the cabin which is waterfront. Going forward you will need to use the described stairs to unload and load. The unloading road mentioned in a few reviews will no longer be available starting spring 2023.

The deck was perfect! We rented a boat and took the kids tubing! KC boat rentals. It was hard to find in the dark. Arrived at 2:30am after a full day at Glacier national park! I do not recommend if you

Pros:
-Owners were kind, responsive and reasonable
-Yard, dock and lakefront are beautiful
-Resort is about a 10 minute boat ride
-Very nice deck overlooking lake
-house was clean
Cons:
-30 minute drive to store. There are no restaurants or shops in the area
-the stairs to get down to the house are horrendous. That was the worst part of the whole trip. It honestly had a big impact on our vacation because it was so awful going up and down.
-the cabin looks bigger in the pictures. It’s pretty “cozy”
-there were mouse droppings in the house but we were warned about that. We didn’t leave the door open but I’m sure it’s easy for them to get in
-parking is terrible and good luck trying to get an Uber. This created a logistical challenge when family would come visit. They had to park at a Marina about 15 minutes away and we had to shuttle them over.
-the neighbors are close (one on each side).
-beds aren’t very comfortable
My advice is to not stay here unless you have a boat. That way you can avoid the stairs if you want to go somewhere.
