About this house rental

You’ll have the entire guesthouse to yourself. The upscale guest home is nestled near the Green Mountain and is just a few minutes to Golden downtown or 16 minutes to Denver downtown. Quiet neighborhood with access to many walking and bicycling trails and conveniently located nearby Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater, School of Mines, Colorado Mills Mall, coffee shops and restaurants. Seven minutes walk to Light Rail Station.

The guest home is a newly build addition with all new appliances. It has it own private entrance, kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom, laundry room, and a dedicated parking space. It's an ideal location if you want to take the Light Rail to downtown, to Pepsi Center, to Coors Field, or to the airport. It's close to the mountain and with I-70 corridor nearby, the nearest ski resort is only about an hour away.

There are lots to see any do year round from your little home away from home with all new appliances and modern amenities.

The host is very responsive and helpful if needed. This is a small, very clean 1 bdrm that's light and bright. The host has many little extras like coffee, creamer, toiletries, full mirror,... I preferred sleeping on the couch vs the pullout. I felt safe in the quiet neighborhood that's located close enough to any stores needed. I would consider going here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was really close to Red Rocks and the guest apartment was well supplied. We were surprised to find that there were stadium seats, a cooler,andice packs for us to use at the amphitheater show.

Sophia’s property is about a 10 min drive from Red Rocks which is absolutely amazing after sitting in concert traffic. The area is full of stores and restaurants . I stayed here for a week in March when visiting my daughter in Golden. The suite is wonderful. Has everything you need for a longer stay. The neighborhood is quiet, which was great for me. The location is a 12-15 min drive from downtown Golden. There aren't many amenities, restaurants or stores within walking distance. You will need a car. It worked out wonderfully for me.

Wonderful for a solo traveler looking for a clean, comfortable guesthouse in a safe, quiet neighborhood in the Lakewood/Golden area.I will note that because it’s connected to the main house, there are some noises that can be a little surprising, and I was awoken at night by some strange water sounds, I couldn’t place it as either it in of the night.

First impression: Cute, quiet neighborhood. Upon stepping inside, we knew it was going to be a place we liked. The space: Everything was very thoughtfully put together. Things were labeled and clear, the space was very clean and cozy. There was a fairly well appointed kitchen we used to make ourselves some home meals to save money on going out. There was even a blender. The bed was a little bit on the firmer side, which worked just fine for me. My partner prefers softer beds and was comfortable on the couch. We did not try the pullout. The location: The light rail was a short walk (or even shorter Lyft) away, so getting to downtown Denver was a breeze. If you don’t like the light rail. It was about 20 minutes from Downtown Denver in one direction and Red Rocks in the other direction. If you’re looking to be ‘in the thick of it’ with everything being walkable then this may not be the spot for you, but that experience isn’t far away when desired. We personally preferred the quieter feel to the area. Rideshare was extremely easy and fast in the area, at reasonable prices. The host: Very respectful and responsive - they had thought of pretty much everything ahead of time and for the one or two questions we had were very prompt and courteous in their responses. We would absolutely stay here again for another visit to see shows at Red Rocks. :)

Hope you like dogs.... and barking. Were dog people, have 2 large dogs at home. We were woken every morning by their dog screaming. Not barking. Not howling. SCREAMING!! Think funny YouTube video. That isn't funny at 6am... or 11pm. We're not sure if the host was at work or running errands, but it would scream the whole time! Be prepared I'm fairly certain the previous reviews were fake.. we only saw the host at the Crack of dawn, waking us up by rummaging outside- next to our windows. Laundry room is not accessible. Nothing entertaining. No books. No games. Cards nothing. You will hear EVERYTHING coming from the house. Which means they hear you too. Be prepared. Now on to the good. It's clean. Check in was easy, check out the same. And it's located in a safe neighborhood. I would like it noted- this is the very first negative review I've ever left. I would not consider staying at this location again. doing.. whatever. Laundry

Sophia's place worked out great for us. Nice, quiet neighborhood, cozy but spacious for two, comfy and clean, well appointed, and everything worked. Nice little touches like a Keurig with pods, seasonings for cooking, and a drawer full of little bathroom items. Even a pair of stadium seats for our Red Rocks show. Five stars all the way!
