Check-in and access was easy. Cabin was wonderfully clean. View is amazing. Quiet seclusion. Convenient location.Three things negatively impacted our visit and stay: 1. The parking. Although it's listing as accommodating 4 vehicles, there's no easy or safe way to turn around unless you have a very small, compact car with no other vehicles in the parking area. Once we figured out how to turn our truck around on the steep, narrow drives and back in, we parked it facing out and left the truck the rest of our stay, traveling in the smallest vehicle we had.2. We were suprised to find that nothing consumable was furnished in the kitchen or baths--no hand soap, bath soap, dishsoap, coffee filter, salt/pepper, etc. Our first task was to travel all the way down the narrow road to a store to purchase basic needs that are usually in a rental like this. 3. The dangerously narrow (1 1/2 lane unmarked) winding road with steep cliffs and no guard rail -- gave us all nightmares the first night! What an impact the road was on our plans--did NOT want to travel it after dark (5:00pm) or after consuming an oz of alcohol. We've traveled mountainous roads before with no issues. But this road up the mountain t is a game-changer when it comes to even considering another stay at the "Cabin in the Clouds."
