About this house rental
This property has been blocked for over a year due to being occupied by a family member; however, it will be available again in August. If you book for a week or more, your rate is only $400.00 per night (please message me about this discount.) This scenic beauty is located in Manchester TN in the back of a cove on quiet Normandy Lake, a TVA-managed lake with water from May-September (sometimes as early as April and as late as October). The Swan House can be your escape to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tennessee. From the back porch, take a gentle stroll to splash in the lake, lounge on the private dock, rest in the gazebo, relax by the fire pit, kayak, or paddle board. You can even drive your vehicle next to the lake / dock / gazebo if you don’t want to walk (it’s only about 100 yards on flat ground). We place a port-a-potty near the dock in the summer for your convenience. The Swan House is located halfway between Nashville and Chattanooga: you can hike in our scenic state parks, golf in the course of your choice, go antique shopping, attend music venues (Bonnaroo and The Caverns), or visit Lynchburg (home of Jack Daniels), Nashville, Chattanooga, or Huntsville. Our goal is to ensure you will not be disappointed in your stay at The Swan House.

We immediately felt the warm welcome of the Swan house when we walked through the front door. Everything was comfortable and lovely, the host was incredibly responsive and answered questions quickly, making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. The outdoor space and grounds are so peaceful and quiet - one of our favorite parts of the trip was just sitting outside talking, watching for wildlife, petting George the cat, watching the kids play on the hill, and enjoying the sounds of nature all around. We would love to return again for a longer stay, the pictures cannot convey how truly special this place is, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you Kathy for your hospitality!

We had the absolute best weekend at the Swan House. We had a nice fire by the lake and fishing and corn hole and smores! Everyone in the group agrees, we will be back!!

The property was so beautiful! Lots of trees! In a great location! It was a very private property with lots to do. Not far from all the things we wanted to see and do as well. It was a great family vacation!
