I was in the unit for a total of 27 days, and I loved it! The unit is a "below-stairs" with direct entry from the street, though you must descend narrow circular stairs. The bed was firm, just as I like it, with plenty of pillows. The unit is very well equipped, with toaster, microwave, electric kettle, electric cook top, undercounter mini-fridge, dishes and cookware, cleaning supplies, and even a reusable plastic carrier bag in the entry cupboard for carrying groceries from Waitrose. Waitrose is 5 minutes away, and for those unfamiliar, it it AMAZING! They have a massive amount of fresh prepared meals for one or two people at good prices. You can eat from Waitrose for a fraction of the cost of restaurants. British, Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, you name it, they have it! If you prefer dining out, the Norfolk Arms pub is next door with excellent tapas (and it goes silent at 10P, so no noise issue), the superb Sandwich Street Kitchen for breakfast, brunch, and lunch is at the opposite end of the block. Numerous other restaurants just steps away include two Indian places, North Sea Fish, Ta-Mini Lebanese, and Fig and Walnut Kitchen Mediterranean. Brunswick Center houses numerous restaurants in addition to Waitrose, as does nearby Southampton Row. King’s Cross artisanal food market is 5 minutes away, with McDonald’s, Burger King, Five Guys, Pizza Express, and many other adjacent. The unit is very easy walking distance to Russell Square Station for the Piccadilly Line and Ki

The place was very nice! Perfect travel size for two people to sleep at, had all the necessary amenities. Also very clean and wonderful location right by the tube station! Great place, wouldn’t have changed anything!!!

First, I would to say that Ramiro, the host, was absolutely wonderful. VRBO mixed up my initial reservation and their computer system canceled my stay. I contacted Ramiro and he was very helpful in getting it straightened out. Now about the apartment. It was very clean and perfect for me as a solo female traveler. I felt very safe staying there. The location was convenient to everything I needed. It was a 4 minute walk to the grocery store and a 9 minute walk to the underground tube. I would definitely stay there again.
