There is currently major construction occurring on new homes in the area. No current homes or amenities will be affected, though construction equipment may be visible and views may be obstructed in some areas. Construction has been scheduled during certain times of the day to minimize noise and potential disturbances to guests. The work is scheduled to conclude in the next year.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We have stayed at several units on property (all beautiful) but Birdie Beach has been my favorite! Everything was very clean and the decorations were such a fun beach vibe, I loved being there. The couch pull out bed was great for two kiddos! The patio seating was perfect for coffee in the mornings, palm trees over the balcony were beautiful! Highly recommend!

This nicely appointed second-floor unit was well-stocked with amenities (plenty of toiletries, kitchen tools, etc.). Although it's only a 2-bedroom unit, the balcony is large enough to be another living space. In VRBO it came up as a beachfront property, but this unit looks out over the street. (If you lean out over the balcony, you can glimpse the Gulf.) It seems fairly new, so furniture and other fixtures are in very good shape. We had trouble with the main TV--seems the cable account wasn't current?--and the property team couldn't handle this because it was an owner issue. This was a pain. The primary bedroom TV was connected to Roku and could get cable, but as a family we preferred to hang out in the living area to watch TV. There was some other minor issues (burned-out lightbulbs, etc.) but the Vacasa team was very responsive to this. Our second stay at Palmilla--we really like it in the off-season. A short walk to the beach although for such a pricey resort, it's ironic that it's on a part of the beach that allows cars to be driven to the water.

Cozy beachy decor, comfy beds. Kitchen is well stocked. POV…make sure you bring tp and paper towels.
