About this house rental
Welcome to one of the cutest houses in one of the coolest neighborhoods in all of Birmingham. Crestwood is located less than 10 min from the airport, UAB, downtown, and a plethora of fantastic restaurants, breweries and nightlife venues. This home is located in an adorable little neighborhood 5 minutes from the heart of Avondale. It features a large master bedroom with a fun hidden bookshelf doorway and a luxurious spa like bathroom. Open to longer term rental.
Enjoy a good ole' fashioned porch sit on the front porch swing or hang out by the fire pit on the back deck. Have fun using the hidden bookshelf door in this updated 1920's home.
Enjoy full access to the entire house and yard.
Located just 15 min away, we are available for emergencies as well as any help with information on all things Birmingham.
Crestwood is known for its creative, diverse feel. Most of the houses in this area were built in the 20's and 30's and each house has its own unique feel.
While there are city buses, most people prefer to have a vehicle to get around. You also have the options of Uber and Lyft. There is driveway parking for 2 vehicles and street parking available directly in front of the house.
-Absolutely NO SMOKING allowed
-No parties allowed--$1500 fine plus damages, as well as immediate removal if violated.
-No glitter/confetti allowed. You will be charged for special cleaning if used.
-Up to 2 FRIENDLY and ***HOUSEBROKEN*** dogs are allowed Guests will be held fully responsible for any damage caused by your pets. There is a doggy door leading to the back fenced in yard. Guests are responsible for making sure their animals do not get out of the fence/yard.
-Street parking ONLY directly in front of house. No street parking in front of neighboring houses.
-Checkout procedures must be followed or guest will be charged an additional $100 fee.

Great classic Birmingham bungalow in a sweet neighborhood. The house is beautifully decorated with interesting touches without feeling overstuffed or cluttered. (If treasures like an original Estey organ in the dining room give you a bit of a thrill, this is the place for you!). The house has a nice flow, including a roomy kitchen well stocked with utensils etc. The master bedroom and bathroom are spacious and very comfortable. My 75-year old other in-law stayed in one of the guest rooms and was very comfortable. We did not use the other guest room but it looked great, although I would not recommend the loft bed for anyone with mobility issues. The deep-set front porch with swing would be perfect on a hot day. We did not end up using the hot tub or firepit, but even without using these amenities, I felt the higher price on this property was well worth it. Ideal for family gathering or a romantic getaway. We had one issue with the refrigerator during our stay, but the manager was extremely responsive despite the holiday timing.

We travelled with four adults and two dogs. The house was spacious, clean and fully appointed with everything we needed for a home away from home. Lots of space to spread out, cook, dine and relax. The yard was securely fenced and clean. There was a wonderful park one mile from the house that was a pleasure to walk to with our dogs. Very quiet neighborhood that is close to everything! This is our new go-to when staying in Birmingham! Thank you for such a wonderful time.
