This rustic hundred-year-old house sits on 44 acres, which border thousands of acres of USA Forest Service land. Wildlife is abundant including deer, turkey and wild hogs! Have fun boating, fishing, waterskiing, or pontooning on Clearwater Lake, only a twenty-minute drive! Enjoy boating, kayaking, canoeing, or fishing on Black River only two miles away. We are also located only two miles from Blue Hole aka The Gulf and just a few miles from Markham Springs.

We had a great time staying here- plenty of room and beds for everyone- we had a party of 6. We are thinking about renting again for a Christmas gathering!

My husband and I and our two grown children and their four children had a nice relaxing couple of days at the cabin. I particularly enjoyed the patio. The kids enjoyed playing on the lawn. We were close enough to the river for a float trip and the lake for a couple of hours of fun after a day of rain. Just can't help Mother Nature. I would recommend this property for a family getaway.
