About this bed and breakfast
The Thousand Island Hart House is the perfect setting for an exclusive holiday destination vacation retreat. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and business retreats are all perfect for the Hart House. Coming in at just under 9,000 square feet, this grand home allows guests ample cozy spots to enjoy each other's company for the holiday. Whip up your delicious meal in our chef's dream kitchen, which includes large stainless steel prep space, wood chopping block and a center island for grazers to come and go all day long.
Seating isn't limited in our substantial dining room overlooking the golf course. After meals, have wonderful fireside conversations, head out to the fire pit and enjoy the beautiful river sunsets, put on a family classic movie or simply explore the grand home that is all yours for your stay.
This all-inclusive destination experience can be as simple as whole property rental cooking your own meals or as luxurious as a fully catered add-on with music and entertainment options. The choice is yours! Your magical holiday awaits you at the Hart House. Treat your family or group to an exclusive historic property. Part of the Boldt Castle lore, in a property once owned by George Boldt. DON'T share your room! We have 10 rooms for 20 people (22 with a pull out sofa bed).
You can reserve the entire house for a long weekend or a whole week!
Before George Boldt transformed Heart Island into the famed Boldt Castle, there was the Hart House. A portion of the mansion was carefully slid across the ice to it's current home on Wellesley Island's Thousand Islands Country Club golf course. The Hart House is being brought back to it's earlier Victorian grandeur for guests to enjoy. It features ample living space with a grand living room, long sitting room, a warm and inviting tranquility reading room and eight beautifully appointed bedrooms. Two large rooms on the first floor (one wheelchair accessible) welcome you to the Hart House. A beautiful staircase whisks you past a grand fireplace to the six second floor bedrooms. The commercial style kitchen is huge with lots of room to work. We have relationships with several chefs should you desire to have your meals prepared for you - leaving more time to spend with family and friends.

We had an absolute wonderful experience staying at the Hart House! We especially enjoyed the large kitchen, it was a gathering place for all ages.

Hart house was a great place for our family gathering. Plenty of space with a full commercial kitchen. The property is being upgraded, and the owners are doing the right things to make this a potentially great place to enjoy time in the Thousand Islands. Keep up the great work Jamie and Marianne.

Owners were so attentive in making sure we were happy and property was working out for our group. Beds were super comfy and bedrooms were beautifully appointed .
